Organic Surge Tropical Bergamot Body Lotion

Organic+Surge+Tropical+Bergamot+Body+Lotion Organic Surge Tropical Bergamot Body Lotion

Winters are on and so is my hunt for a perfect body lotion. I have oily-combination skin on the face and normal to dry skin on my body. So, it is mandatory for me to moisturize after shower. I picked this up from an online shopping website. I have used a variety of body lotions. Read on to find out my experience with this one!

Product Description from the Website:
For all skin types. Tropical Bergamot Body Lotion is super-hydrating and quickly absorbed to protect from dryness and irritation. Skin-conditioning almond oil and glycerine leave skin feeling soft, smooth and moisturised. Enriched with organic bergamot and sweet orange essential oils, which eliminate toxins and help to de-stress.

Packaging:

It comes in a tube for which the cap is flip-open type. The cap is pretty tight and is travel friendly.

My Take on Organic Surge Tropical Bergamot Body Lotion:

The first thing that I noticed on opening the tube was the citrus-y smell! I have never used a body lotion which smells of oranges and lemons. On squeezing the lotion out of the tube, I realized I should call this a cream and not a lotion. It was that thick! The color of this lotion (err or should I say cream?) is white. I applied some on my arms after shower and massaged it into my skin.  The smell of this lotion gives an instant fresh feeling. Also, I realized that I didn’t have to massage it too much to get it absorbed into my skin.

I simply rubbed it for about four to five times, and my skin drank up the entire thing! I was surprised as to how such a thick lotion can get absorbed so quickly, while some of my lotions, despite being runny takes time to get absorbed! My arms remained moisturized throughout the day! To check its moisturizing capacity, I kept drawing small scratches on my arms to see a white line, but could not find one! I know, silly me ;-P My hands become dry after shower, so a good moisturizer is mandatory, but sadly, the beautiful smell of this lotion did not even last for 30 minutes, (but I am not worried about that).  This is by far the best moisturizer that I have used! Also, it’s the best moisturizer for winters for me. I might even use this during summers, since it gets absorbed very quickly icon wink Organic Surge Tropical Bergamot Body Lotion

Look how thick this lotion is.

Though the lotion is thick, it blends quite easily!

This is how my hands look after massaging the lotion into my skin (not a trace of greasiness!).

Overall, I am in love with this product!! Now, coming to the pros and cons of this lotion.

Pros of Organic Surge Tropical Bergamot Body Lotion:

  • It does not have harsh chemicals such as parabens and is very safe.
  • The consistency is very thick and is perfect for winters.
  • The smell is very refreshing and I love how it wakes me up in the morning!
  • Even though it is thick, it gets absorbed quickly.
  • It moisturizes my dry skin the whole day!
  • Travel-friendly packaging. There is no chance of any leakage of the product from the tube.

Cons of Organic Surge Tropical Bergamot Body Lotion:

  • The price is expensive for the quantity.
  • Available only online. At least, I have not seen these in any stores in Chennai. (If it is available in stores, please update me).

Rating:

My rating would be 4.5/5 ( 0.5 for the high price).

Do I Recommend Organic Surge Tropical Bergamot Body Lotion:

Absolutely and to all those who have dry to normal skin.

Will I Repurchase Organic Surge Tropical Bergamot Body Lotion:

Definitely!!! I have finally found my winter moisturizer!

Have a nice day everyone!
