Organix Moroccan Argan Oil Review

Organix Moroccan Argan Oil

Hello everyone 🙂
Today I’d be reviewing Organix Moroccan Argan Penetrating Oil for dry and coarse hair (You get it in 2 other variants also, but I don’t remember the names well). I don’t know what had gotten into me, but at the beginning of this year I made a resolution to wash my hair every day, that also using a different shampoo each day. So I had 7 different types of shampoos and conditioners for each day of the week. Naturally it wreaked havoc on my hair 🙁

While some shampoos worked brilliantly, the others were a total disaster, and obviously my poor hair suffered!! :’(

So I thought of doing something and started looking online for solutions. I found out that Moroccan Oil works wonders for damaged hair but unfortunately it wasn’t available in India. Then one day at beauty centre I found this and picked it to try it out. Since it wasn’t the actual ‘Moroccan Oil’ that I was looking for, I didn’t have many expectations with this one. Let’s see how it fared.
product description
Price: 525 INR for a quantity of 100ml (I believe it is much cheaper in the US)

Packaging:
It comes in a cute teal bottle with a golden cap. It has a flip-open type of lid and you can control the quantity that comes out. The packaging is very sturdy and doesn’t leak at all even if you keep it in your bag while travelling. The bottle comes in a carton and all the instructions are printed on the carton as well as on the bottle.

My Experience With Organix Moroccan Argan Oil

This oil doesn’t have the consistency of oil rather it’s like a serum. It’s not very runny nor thick, its somewhere in between. It has a very heavenly fragrance that lingers on your hair till you wash it off the next day. You need a very small quantity of this for each application. I use it in the same manner as mentioned on the carton. I take a small amount in my palm and rub both my palms together (PS: The intensity of the fragrance increases when you rub your palms together, maybe it’s cos of the heat produced during this friction) and then apply it on my towel dried hair towards the ends of my hair. Since I have long hair, I part my hair in two sections, and use the quantity on each palm or each section.
The results of using this oil are AMAZING!!! It makes my hair so soft and shiny. And once my hair dries, combing it is so much more easier cos of using this product. It makes my hair so so manageable. This has helped me a lot in reversing the damage that I made my hair go through and it makes my hair look so healthy ☺

I can’t stop sniffing my hair cos of the amazing fragrance that it imparts 😛

Also it helps to prevent damage caused by blow drying and other heat treatments. I used to use L’oreal Liss Ultime Serum while blow drying my hair and it still made my hair a bit coarse and dry. But this didn’t make my hair frizzy or rough at all. It helped me maintain healthy, soft and shiny hair at all times. I can’t keep my hands off my hair, cos it becomes so so soft 😀

It helps in taming all the flyaways too. What more could I have ever asked for?? 😛
Also since a very small amount is required for each application one bottle easily lasted me for about 2 months considering I washed my hair every alternate day and my hair covers 3/4th of my back.

Pros of Organix Moroccan Argan Oil

• Smoothens hair
• Makes my hair shiny
• Tames flyaways
• Sturdy packaging
• Heavenly fragrance

Cons of Organix Moroccan Argan Oil

• Limited availability in India (I have only seen this at Beauty Centre and at a few medical and cosmetic stores)

IMBB Rating: 5/5

Would I recommend/Repurchase?
At the moment I am on my second bottle. I would obviously recommend all of you’ll to try it cos it’s a great product. I would keep on repurchasing it till I lay my hands on the actual ‘Moroccan Oil’

  1. nice review roshini..now finally i can lay my hands on a moroccon oil…coz it actually works… 🙂 🙂 which beauty centre did u get it from?? d one at crawford market??

  2. Have you used the shampoo/Conditioner /mask from the same range ? are they any good .

Most of the argan oils marketed contain only a percentage of the oil itself and contain silicones ,..but this looks like a good one

    1. No, I didn’t try the other products from this range..
Will surely give the shampoo and conditioner a try once I finish using my current stock of hair care products :/

  3. wow.. i was eyeing on argan oil since the day i got to know abt it via Garnier sleek & shine shampoo! Will get it soon.. 🙂 thanx for this review dear!!

  4. Glad to know that it works…else I heard Organix version is not organic funny no? A friend of mine said it has very less or no amount of argan oil, hearing this I got confused but going by your review I guess it works 🙂

      1. Hi I m lil confused weather to apply this oil before washing or after washing like a serum? Can I apply this oil to scalp. And thanks for the review after reading your review I bought this but now confused with the application.

  5. i knw there are other variants in moroccan oil too.. bt m scared to try this… i do have a oily scalp and as far as i have heard moroccan oil works well for dry hair….
    Good review though 🙂

  6. Hey i request you to give me the details from where will i get Morroccon Argan Oil for face. Even though am resident of Kandivali
Give me the address of where in Crawford Market also i want original one..

  7. That is very counter intuitive, but I have been looking for some type of moisturizer for my face this winter. My face is so dry, the lotion absorbs in an hour or so and then I need to reapply. I may have to try this after the holidays. Thanks for sharing!
