By now, We have all seen how essential Makeup bases/ primers are for achieving that pro type makeup finish / look. Getting a perfect makeup means following a few simple, yet extremely important steps. It is no longer a secret that a flawless, strong makeup base can do wonders and represents an essential stage in the makeup process. If properly chosen and applied, the makeup base hides flaws and skin imperfections and therefore enhancing your most beautiful features.

This makeup base was a part of my oriflame shopping this month. Since, Dear Farha wanted to know how this works, I used it on three occasions and I think I can write a fair review for it now…

WHAT IS SWEDISH LINGONBERRY?

LINGONBERRY is a short evergreen shrub in the heath family that bears edible sour fruit, native to boreal forest and Arctic tundra throughout the Northern Hemisphere from Eurasia to North America. It is seldom cultivated, but fruit is commonly collected in the wild. Lingonberries are rich source of fibers, sugar, vitamin A, vitamin C and magnesium. Lingonberries also consist of large amount of flavonoids and lignans. Lignans and flavonoids are believed to be anti- cancer. Lingonberries are also rich in benzoic acid, thus, they are often used as antimicrobial agents

My Experience with Oriflame Giordani Gold Makeup Base

The name, “ RADIANT PEARL” fits to the T , to this product .To cut the long story short, I really approve and recommend this product already. I have used it on 3 occasions now, and the results where clearly visible. This makeup base adds good luminosity & glow to the skin without any greasiness.. Instantly makes the facial skin so soft/ smooth, I could apply/ blend my foundation with real ease , in a jiffy , thanks to this. The overall finish after applying the foundation was flawless as it covered my imperfections/blotchiness well. The need to moisturize the skin before using this makeup base is minimal.

What I like about Oriflame Giordani Gold Makeup Base

• Adds a wonderful dewy glow to the face and gives a flawless finish.
• The foundation spreads quickly and easily on top of this
• Keeps the foundation/ make up fresh for long
• The skin feels soft and supple
• A little goes a long way like as you need just 2-3 drops of it to cover the whole face.
• Comes with a pump dispenser to take out the required quantity easily
• Controls and absorbs oil and greasiness.

What I didn’t like about Oriflame Giordani Gold Makeup Base

• Does not work much on the pore minimizing part
• Contains parabens
• Available via oriflame agents only.
• Not a budget cosmetic product, find it a little expensive.
