Oriflame new Veryme Peach Me Perfect Skin Glow Review

by Nids on March 19, 2011 · 60 comments

Hi again.. :) :)
I am back with another review and this time reviewing my first ever purchase from Oriflame. You must have seen the review of the previous Peach me perfect skin glow by Oriflame. This is the new and improved version. I was in search of a good tinted moisturizer and had made my mind to pick up the Biotique one but just checking the Oriflame catalogue online, I saw this product newly launched in Feb and as it was discount, I ordered it instantly from Pooja.

According to Oriflame, The product brings out the best in your complexion. Tinted gel moisturiser with a lightweight finish gives you a peachy, natural glow. Can be worn alone or with your favourite foundation. Comes in two shades-light & dark.

Quantity: 30 ml
Price: Rs 279/- (on offer: Rs 209/-). I got it for 180/- including shipping.

My word on it: As I already said, It is my first purchase from Oriflame & I must say I am quite happy using this product. I got the shade-Light. It’s really light on application & blends smoothly into the skin giving it a subtle yet visible glow. I really like the nice glimmer-shimmer it leaves on my face. Yes, it has some glitter particles but they are very fine & just leave a nice sheen on your face. And it has a nice fruity scent too. :)

As summers are approaching, I just can’t think of covering my face with a layer of foundation. Skin too wants to breathe & I want to feel light yet not bare of any makeup. So this began my search for a tinted moisturizer & then came this goody goody product. This product is perfect for daily use, for those who don’t like to wear make up so much as this can be applied without any additional make up.
I require a pea size amount of it to cover my entire face. I have used it alone after my CTM & even mixed it along with my sunscreen and daily cream & found it effective in all the 3 cases. I think it did turn my face a little oily when I used it alone for the first time but after trying again it was Ok. So in very hot weather it may turn a bit oily on the T-zone.

L to R: Texture & amount reqd., after some blending, complete blending-camera couldn’t catch the shimmer effect
Rest I didn’t find any side effects on using it. No skin type mentioned on the tube so it may suit all skin type. I didn’t find much difference in the previous & the new version. I mean that I have not used the earlier 1 but after reading its reviews also I think both are almost the same except for the Change in packaging, price & skin tones. This new one comes in 2 shades.
I find the black packaging with the orange cap very cute & attractive. It has a plastic casing which can be easily squeezed out as much as 1 wants to. Apart from that, it’s a travel friendly package & doesn’t spill out on opening the cap so not even messy. But in this hot weather, try to store in a cool dark place to avoid melting of the product. It has a huge ingredients list which can be seen on the back of the package.

Pros of the veryme peach me perfect skin glow

• Very lightweight and dewy in feel.
• Easy to apply & blend in the skin.
• The perfect peach glow it provides with the subtle shimmer is superb.
• Very small quantity required to cover the entire face & neck region.
• Attractive & convenient packaging.
• No side effects seen on my dry skin after using it.
• Lovely fragrance.

Cons of the veryme peach me perfect skin glow

• I am a little confused on seeing the long ingredient list.
• Can turn a little oily in hot & humid weather. Set it using your loose powder.
• Can’t hide much of facial scars or blemishes.
• Can be bought through Oriflame consultant only.
• Price is a little high compared to the quantity provided but one can get it on an offer.

Recommend/Repurchase: Definitely yes. Its a good product worth trying and retrying.
My ratings for it would be 4-1/4 :P ;)

Hello Arch….if have are dark skin shade please get the darker shade. It gives you a subtle glow. So dont worry. And yes you can mix it with foundation. Or apply this and set is with slight compact to absorb oil. I have combi/oily skin too. But this does make leave my skin very oily. I just apply this all over face. Set it with compact. And then apply a peachy pink blush. :))
Hope this helps.

Nids March 21, 2011 at 3:51 pm

yeah Arch.. if u r on the darker side then plz buy the Dark shade otherws this will luk like a white cast on u.. Makeup shud not show on ur face as a plaster esp the base..
foundation ,TMs shud be chosen acc to skin tone only…
for light skin tones.. the dark shade can act like a good bronzer or highliter..thts y Jinal mentioned the sun-kissed glow.. :)) :))

Nice review Nids! I just purchased this and I’m loving this product! This is the first TM I have used and it does give a slightly shiny feel but setting it with compact solves the problem. It gives a nice subtle glow for a few hours, very wearable in the day also despite the slight shimmer particles. It has a become a staple in my daily skin care routine now !
