Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask Review

By Niti Arya

Hello IMBBian’s,

Thank you so much for a warm welcome. As I said in my previous review, I love Origins as a brand, so I did buy a couple of (read:  a lot) of products from this brand. The best thing about Origins is that they have very nice fragrance in almost all the products and I love that. It could be a turn off for some, but for people like me, it is a big plus. Like others, I too watch a lot of Youtube videos and that is how I picked up products.  As you know from my previous post, I needed some extra care after my pregnancy. Hence, I purchased two masks – Origins Active Charcoal Mask and then this one – Origins Drink Up Overnight Mask.  It has great reviews, but I have my own take on it. Also, in the pictures, you would see a different packaging as I bought the limited edition one that came in a 75 ml tube.

Product Description:

This intense moisture replacement mask with Avocado and Apricot Kernel Oil deeply and instantly quenches compromised moisture reserves and builds a reservoir for tomorrow. Japanese Seaweed repairs skin’s barrier to prevent future dehydration and signs of premature aging.

My Experience with Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask:

My skin loves this product. I usually apply this once in a week.  I cleanse my face, tone and apply this mask. It has a pink/peachy tone to it. Its consistency is not too thick. It applies very easily and has a very fresh fragrance of peaches. I love the fragrance. Now, here is an important point regarding application.  I have combination skin that is oily and dry in areas, so I apply it accordingly.  Initially, I used to apply it generously all over my face, but I saw that it was clogging pores around my chin. Lesson learnt! Now, I apply generously on dry parts of my skin and moderately on oily. The only discomfort would be to sleep straight or on to one side, but that’s not an issue, if you get good results.

In the morning, skin does feel great, soft and plump. If there’s still any residue on the face (usually I don’t), then just splash with cold water.  It comes in a very handy tube and a little goes a long way.

Also, the product claims to have anti-ageing properties, can’t say much about that as of now, that future would only tell; however, we all know that skin should be hydrated at all times to prevent ageing, in that sense, this product scores.

Pros of Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask:

  • True to its claims, it does make skin smooth and plump.
  • Very hydrating, it gives a boost to the moisture levels of your skin.
  • Amazing fragrance, love it.
  • Handy tube, travel friendly.
  • This mask need to be applied once or twice a week, this tube would last for a long time.
  • Anti-ageing benefits.

Cons of Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask:

  • It’s a product that should be applied according to the skin type; however, I have no doubts about its performance!
  • Pricey.
  • Discomfort while sleeping.

IMBB Rating:

4.5/5

Do I Recommend Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask?

Yes, I would highly recommend this product to all. The only caution is to apply it moderately if you have oily/combination skin and generously if you have dry/normal skin type.
