Outfit of the Day – Faux Leather Pants
Faux leather pants are versatile and I love how effortlessly glamorous it makes an outfit. It makes for a refreshing change from denims. It adds new textures and is very easy to incorporate into your existing wardrobe. I’m beginning to think of them as basic wardrobe staples that can also add an edgy and fashion forward look to your outfit. They are also super comfortable and keep you warm.
Among the plethora of colors I could pair them with, I chose a dark colored top to wear with these pants because the toned down color scheme keeps our silhouette looking slim and streamlined. Also, I love the contrast that a faux leather pant provides when paired with ultra-feminine pieces.
In my OOTD, I have paired the pants with a delicate black lace top that has a scalloped neck and hem. I had to buy this one simply because of the scalloped neckline and edges that make it much trendier and elevates the top from being “just another lace top.” I tied my hair in a fishtail braid in order to highlight the scalloped detailing in the top.
Keeping in tune with a dark and edgy look, I carried a studded black bag which is a statement piece by itself.
The earrings and the ring add a touch of color which is perfectly attuned with the color scheme I have chosen.
