Outfit of the Day: Hand-Block Printed Harem Pants with Lace Top
Hello girlies,
I’m back with yet another outfit post straight from the runaway nomadic junkie hiding in me *wink*! Thanks a ton for all your lovely comments on my previous OOTDs. They really made my day.
I’m bored to death with denims, so I said hello to all kinds of loose, comfy, fun bottoms that are versatile and breathing! So, here I wear Hand-Block Printed Harems with a Lace Top and Jaipuri Jootis. Harems are playful and nomadic in appeal, just the way I like! My harems have hand block prints over a beige base.
As my pants have a pattern, I kept the color of the top solid. The key is to match the color of the top with one of the colors in my harems. So, I focused on the warmer peach shade of the pattern and paired a contrasting peach lace top with it. Harems look slouchy and heavy on bottom, but my top balanced the look. It’s sleeveless, fitted and laced till half of the back.
I wore traditional Jaipuri jootis to complete my look. They are beautiful in their own way and comfy at its best.
For accessorizing, I wore a total of sixteen bangles in contrasting shades of black and rust brown. They kinda kept the look cheerful and lively! I also wore my favorite black statement ring. I avoided earrings and wore a bold wooden neckpiece that went bingo with my outfit.
Makeup was deep kohl-lined eyes with brown lippies. Didn’t mess with my wavy rolls much and kept the hairdo simple by just clutching them high.
