Outfit of the Day: Neon Yellow and Pink Lehenga

Outfit of the day: Neon Yellow and Pink Lehenga

Hello all!

This OOTD is a bit special to me as it talks about my passion. My passion lies in fashion, always doing new things. Sadly, I am in IT industry where I have to do 8-6 pm monotonous job. This can also be the reason that I love IMBB; where I do what I love to do.

The outfit you see today is designed by me. I keep hundreds of pictures of actresses whose dresses I adore so that someday I can recreate them. I already did for my cousins and family.

This is my first Indian-outfit shoot on IMBB and therefore, not sure whether you people are going to like me in this avatar. I was more ecstatic to see the pictures  as I wanted to wear yellow and pink lengha with with golden khichdi border. I added cane to my lehenga as well, so that it has some flow and doesn’t stick. The only issue with this outfit was its blouse; I didn’t feel it turned out completely as I wanted it to be ..I will get a new one later.

In contrast, I chose an orangish-peach dupatta. I arranged all this stuff and gave it to a designer from where I got it stitched!! During my weddin, I struggled a lot while finding a good designer for my trousseau and lately I found everything.

I would also like to add that I find Sanjeev ji’s post very inspirational (I have bookmarked the article that talked about “searching for Tathagat center in CP; it was so good) and always forward the posts to my husband for motivation. His last post That thing which nearly killed my life” was too good and motivated me a lot!! I hope I can carry forward my passion like others and have a store of my designed clothes someday.

Kindly bear with this long post! I could not hold myself back.   *shy*
P.S.   *specs* This article was written months ago after reading Sanjeev ji’s article, but couldn’t post it as I didn’t get any occasion to wear this outfit.

  8. you look very pretty and color combination is summery and fresh. Keep-up we all have something hidden in us which comes out sooner or later. Follow your passion and make your dreams to reality very few people are blessed with that and if you have a supporting family thats a cherry on the top. I also work in IT company and I can understand how boring a 9-5 job can be. Even I look for some kind of outlet through makeup, shopping, thinking of new dress that I can get designed and blogging. Stay happy and look pretty 🙂
