Outfit of the Day: Ombré Maxi Dress
Hello ladies,
Hope all of you are doing well! I have a sad secret to share.. my mom has put a “shoe shopping ban” on me. *cry* According to her, I just keep filling my closet with high heels but never wear them, sad but true! 😛 But now I have to prove myself by wearing them often to lift the ban. *hihi*
Anyhow, bringing you yet another crazy trend of this season through this OOTD post i.e. Ombré.
So I bumped into this maxi dress last season during sale & you won’t believe it was such a steal. Though never got to wear it till now but finally, I wore it for lunch date few days back! 🙂 I added a thin belt to define the waist.
Generally, I pair maxi dresses with flats but here I paired it with these faux snakeskin wedges. Elegant & comfortable!
Considering the horrible humid weather, I chose simple accessories in silver tones; multiple mid rings & mint drop earrings. For hairstyle I did a messy side bun. The outfit being in earthy tones I added a dash of color through the tangerine lip shade.
