Outfit of the Day: Red Kota Khari Printed Skirt

Red Kota Khari Printed Skirt

Hi Everyone,
We sisters are back with yet another outfit post for you. Hope you all enjoy this one too!

The inspiration for this outfit is the bright Kota Khari printed crinkled long skirt (isn’t the name quite fancy). The skirt is very light, breezy and easy to carry. It has a bright red lining underneath which peeps through the sheer cotton skirt and adds a colorful nuance to it.

We wanted the focus to be on the skirt and the accessories and hence paired it up with a plain black tee.

My favorite piece of jewelry from this outfit is the beautiful beaded green neckpiece which adds a vibrant contrast to the black top. We have completed the look with flats, to go with the whole tending towards Indian look.

We have kept the makeup to a minimal with kohl lined eyes and glossy lips and Anju has styled her hair to a side fishtail braid (unfortunately doesn’t show up in the photographs clearly).

Hope you all like this post and do let us know if you have any ideas on styling the skirt differently.
