My Experience with Palmolive Naturals Virgin Coconut Oil and Soy Protein Silky Straight Shampoo:
The shampoo comes in a bright purple colored plastic bottle having a flip top cap of the same color. These shampoos come in a variety of sizes also. The cap shuts tightly making an audible click sound which makes it suitable for travel purposes. The back side of the bottle bears the product related information. Overall, the packaging is sturdy and travel-friendly.
The shampoo has a strong fruity fragrance, which can be a bothering for women with sensitive nose. But, I just love the heavenly smell of this shampoo. As the smell is strong and very refreshing, it stays on my hair for approximately 2-3 hours.
The shampoo is pearly white in color and has a thick consistency. It spreads nicely on the hair and lathers well even on days when I have an extremely greasy hair. A coin sized amount is good enough to get a rich lather on my mid length hair. Soy Protein is well known for its ability to prevent hair loss by boosting your hair growth. It also helps to make your hair shiny and healthy. On, the other hand, coconut oil helps to condition the scalp, promotes hair growth, and strengthens your roots. Though I had not noticed any significant difference in the hair fall but, it has definitely made my hair look better and healthy.
The shampoo deeply cleanses my hair without drying out my scalp. It works equally great on heavily oiled hair and cleanses it nicely thereby, removing all the dirt and oil. After washing, my hair feels super smooth, soft and shiny. True to its claims, it tamed the frizz upto a great extent and made my hair silky. But, it does not contribute much to make my wavy hair turn straight. I could notice a little straightening effect after air-drying my hair completely. It makes my hair tangle-free and my hair brush runs smoothly through my hair. It causes less breakage and less hair fall. It keeps my hair oil-free and bouncy but does not add volume to my hair. Overall, I really like this shampoo as it cleans well and provides me with a smooth and soft hair.
