My Experience with Pantene Hair Fall Control Intensive Hair Mask:

The packaging of this hair mask is the same as that of the Total Damage Care one. It comes in a tub with a screw cap which can be flipped open as well. The flip open cap is a little flimsy. so it might not be a wise option to travel with. The mask smells like all the other Pantene products. It is creamy and light and spreads easily on the hair.

It mentions on the pack to use this mask after conditioning, but if you do so, it will weigh down the hair and nobody wants that. I use this once a week, avoiding the scalp and concentrating on the ends and leave it for about 5 minutes before rinsing it out. The mask conditions my hair well and there are less tangles thus leading to less breakage. So the claim holds true. After using this mask, my hair appears smooth and slightly shiny, but it does not reduce frizz in any way. For that, I have to use a serum post wash. My hair has some bounce and does not get limp the very next day after using this mask.

Pantene Hair Fall Control Intensive Hair Mask 5

I am almost done with this mask but I won’t be repurchasing this as it has all the chemicals I want to avoid. I actually want to buy the L’Occitane one that Rati has reviewed.

Pros of Pantene Hair Fall Control Intensive Hair Mask:

  • The claim holds true in my case.
  • Hair was soft and manageable post wash.
  • Added some bounce and shine to my hair.
  • Easy to rinse out.
  • Smells decent (typical Pantene smell).
  • Inexpensive.

Cons of Pantene Hair Fall Control Intensive Hair Mask:

  • Loaded with chemicals.
  • Not travel friendly.
  • Unhygienic and flimsy packaging.

Final Verdict:

If Pantene products have worked for you in the past, then you can try this one, but remember it is loaded with chemicals. It is harmful for our hair in the long run.
