My Experience with Patanjali Moisturizer Cream:

It comes in a cute plastic jar packaging with a baby pink coloured screw cap. Underneath the screw cap, there is another white coloured lid to prevent the cream from coming onto the inner corners of the cap. There is a small cardboard carton in which the jar comes.

The plastic tub reminds me of body butters from TBS, though they are much bigger in size. The first thing which you will notice post opening the cap is the fragrance. It smells of Shea butter and cocoa, but it is over sweet and quite overpowering too. The fragrance lingers for 3-4 hours and with time it becomes less intense. Sensitive noses will not like it for sure.

Patanjali Moisturizer Cream Review

Coming to the efficacy of the cream, it is baby pink coloured cream which is has a slightly thicker consistency. I somehow couldn’t understand the cream’s name. It says it is a moisturizer cream which means it is a combination of a moisturizer and a cream. Going by that, I could decipher the cream has the properties of both a moisturizer as well as a cream.

For hands and face, only a small quantity is required. It feels a bit heavy, but eventually seeps into the skin leaving it baby soft. It might make oily skin more oily, but for normal to dry skin, I think it would be just apt. The cream is also devoid of harmful chemicals like Parabens and mineral oil which gives it a double thumbs up.

Summarising the pros and cons-

Pros of Patanjali Moisturizer Cream:

• Light weight cream which gets absorbed into the skin easily.
• Travel friendly small sized pack.
• Makes skin softer.
• Devoid of harmful chemicals.
• True to its claim, does prevent dehydration of skin.
• Can be used in summers as well as winters.
• The additional covering underneath the cap is appreciable as it prevents the creams spillage.

Cons of Patanjali Moisturizer Cream:

• The fragrance! It smells highly of Shea butter, but at the same time it is so intense and overpowering. Sensitive noses may take offence to it.
