My Hair Type:
I bought this product as I’m facing severe hair fall problem as well as I have a little bit of dandruff issues. I have rough, dry and fizzy hair, but my main concern is hair fall. I got this product on my sister’s recommendation.
My Experience with Patanjali Sheetal Oil:
This oil is pink in colour with reddish undertones. This oil is packaged in a transparent plastic bottle with a flip cap. This bottle is not at all travel friendly. The entire ingredients list is mentioned on the cardboard box which comes along with this oil. The texture of this oil is serum like and the application is extremely easy as it spreads easily and gets absorbed quickly. This oil smells extensively of VICKS as well as eucalyptus oil even though the amount of eucalyptus oil is lower as compared to other oils in this product.
This oil provides a cooling effect which lasts for a very long time (5-6 hours) which provides a relief from headache and stress. This is a multipurpose oil, but I’ve used it only as a hair oil till now. I would say this oil has gradually reduced my hair fall to a certain extent and has also reduced my dandruff. I could see some reduction in my hair fall with just day 1 of application and I couldn’t have been more satisfied with this product. This oil has shown vast improvement in terms of controlling my hair fall even though it’s multipurpose oil.
This oil takes a lot of time to get washed off even though it has a serum like consistency. At least 2 washes are needed. Even after the hair wash, I could smell the fragrance of this hair oil lingering on my hair for quite some time. This oil doesn’t control frizz. Also, it does not make my hair soft and smooth. A little goes a long way depending upon person to person and the length of the hair as the oil spreads very well.
Pros of Patanjali Sheetal Oil:
• Provides relief from stress and headache
• Provides a cooling effect
• Reduces hair fall and dandruff
• Spreads easily

• An ayurvedic product
Cons of Patanjali Sheetal Oil:
• Doesn’t control frizz
• Doesn’t make hair soft and smooth
• The fragrance is extremely strong
• The bottle is not travel friendly
• Limited availability
IMBB Rating:
4/5
