Peter Thomas Roth 24K Gold Mask Pure Luxury Lift and Firm Mask Review

I love taking good care of my skin and for that I am very strict about my skincare regime. The favourite part of my skincare routine is applying face mask, I get time to relax, take care of me and pamper my skin. Enough of me blabbering, let’s get on to the review . The mask that I will be reviewing today is Peter Thomas Roth’s 24k mask (by the way, that’s what I mean by pampering)  ??

My Experience with Peter Thomas Roth 24K Gold Mask Pure Luxury Lift and Firm Mask:

This 24k mask by Peter Thomas Roth comes housed in a transparent jar with golden lid on it. The name of the brand and product is printed on the front of the jar and the direction and rest of the details are printed at the back of the jar.

Now, 24K GOLD ! what ! How! And why! I mean what can it actually do! After doing my research, I found out that gold is actually good for skin. Come to think of it, gold was the secret to Cleopatra’s Youthful skin, it firms up skin and makes your skin wrinkle free and radiant.

This mask claims to tighten skin, firm and plump up skin. Honestly, when I first applied this, I wasn’t so sure about this mask. This facial mask needs to be applied for 10 minutes and that’s what I have been doing. It doesn’t dry down completely, it stays the same, it doesn’t also tighten up on the skin. It  actually feels like you have a layer of gel on your skin.

After I take it off, my skin feels soft and radiant, nothing more than that. I have used it for about 5 times now in the last two weeks, and I can feel my skin tightening up.  Smile lines have completely disappeared. My skin feels hydrated and plump.

The texture of 24k gold mask is very thick with gel-like texture, which is easy to apply, but a pain to take off! I mean it literally takes a few seconds to put it on, but takes at least 8 to 10 minutes to take it off. The mask is a lovely gold colour to it with golden glitters and when you apply, it actually looks like you have gold on – it’s all shiny and glittery. It also has a mild rose scent to it. After using it for a while, I can see what all the hype is about, but I would like to explore more gold masks out there to see if there any better options in the market.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase Peter Thomas Roth 24K Gold Mask Pure Luxury Lift and Firm Mask?
Maybe not , because I want to try more 24k gold masks out there. But I would recommend it.
