Physicians Formula Powder Palette Multi-Colored Blush – Blushing Nude Review

Hello everyone,

I love wearing blush and I never step out without a light brush of a nice blush on my face. After a long tryst with different shades, I now know that neither coral nor pale pink suits me. Only an obvious rosy pink shade stands out on my face and looks natural and healthy.  Needless to say, whenever I see a blush in rosy hue, I run to grab it and this one was so pocket friendly that it was definitely worth a try. The product in this review is unfortunately on the paler side, but I can’t complain much about it since it’s a gift from my sister. Continue reading to know more about it.

My Take on Physicians Formula Powder Palette Multi-Colored Blush – Blushing Nude:

The first thing that I have noticed was the pretty and symmetrical mosaic pattern on the surface of the blush and there are four different colors in that mosaic.  The second thing that I noticed was that when I tried to pick up the product, a little bit crumbled up and there was an obvious fall out.

Packaging:  The product is in a plastic pan which has been attached to a plastic case with a see-through cover. The back side of the pan has no mirror, and what is mostly very common in such a packaging, underneath, there is a space to keep a tiny brush. The packaging is not very sturdy and cover of the case is a little wobbly. However, I love how the product is pressed into the pan –4 shades of pink are set in a mosaic style.

Texture:  It’s a powder blush and it’s bound to have some fall out, but it is a bit more than usual. One can dab off the excess from the brush during application to remove any loose pigment. It is very soft in texture and blends effortlessly.

Color:  Pale rosy hue with no shimmer – color varies from pale pink to a little deeper brown.

Pigmentation:  Awesome pigmentation, but only for very pale skin tones, otherwise it’s not visible. Multiple swipes are required for some amount of appreciable color to be visible on my cheeks. I have used PH blushes before, so I had a little higher expectation from this one, but alas, such was not the case in this product.

Shimmer and Shine:  It has no shimmer and shine, and it has a dull matte finish to it.

Staying Power:  Stays on for the entire day or until it is removed; however, however, the apparent color on the cheeks does fade away eventually.

Physicians Formula Powder Palette Multi-Colored Blush

This is a very pretty blush but only for very pale skin tones. I personally felt that it was a pale-colored compact powder and might end up using it like that because it does not serve the purpose the way it claims to and was a disappointment.

Pros of Physicians Formula Powder Palette Multi-Colored Blush – Blushing Nude:

  • Nice packaging with the product set in a mosaic pattern.
  • Comes with a brush.
  • Transparent lid makes identification easier.
  • Pale pink with matte finish.
  • Decent staying power.
  • Pocket-friendly price.

Cons of Physicians Formula Powder Palette Multi-Colored Blush – Blushing Nude:

  • Pale shade, not visible on my face.
  • No shimmer and gives a dull matte finish.
  • The brush that comes with the blush is very useless ( but usually it’s the same case with all makeup products).
  • A lot of fall out.

Would I Repurchase Physicians Formula Powder Palette Multi-Colored Blush – Blushing Nude?

No, I won’t because I found this product of no use and recommend it to only fair skin tones, but otherwise, it is a big dud.
