Phyto 7 Dry Hair Hydrating Day Cream with 7 Plants Review

Hi Beauties,

I have come today with another product which has become essential for me on my bad hair days. Two years ago, when my son was born, I started having the most terrible hair fall in history. It seemed to me that I may go bald soon (thankfully, I didn’t).  The hair that remained intact was extremely dry and rough. Moreover, the roots were oily. It seemed to me not like a “bad hair day,” but more like “bad hair months.” Also, having to juggle between my child and my job meant that I did not have any time for myself at all. My hair was perpetually knotted in a bun, because I could not keep them open. I tried many hair products to bring my tresses back to at least decency, but realized that though they worked well in the beginning, eventually they were doing more harm than good since all of them contained silicones. Also, they were heavy and weighed my hair down. In the search of a good hair serum, I finally found Phyto. It was available in phyto7 (for dry hair), and phyto 9 (for extremely dry hair). I decided to give it a shot since it was on “buy one, get one free” offer, and frankly, none of my other products were working. Also, looking at the list of ingredients, I immediately grabbed it.

My Experience with Phyto 7 Dry Hair Hydrating Day Cream with 7 Plants:

It comes in a golden color tube, which gets distorted when pressed. The packaging is not the best one out there. The tube has a flip cover, inside which is a very light, white cream. The fragrance is like wheat, not to my liking at all. However, the fragrance does not last on application. At first, I applied it on my shampooed dry hair, but that led to whitish particles in my hair. Then, I applied it to my wet, shampooed hair. But the effect was not as good as I wanted. I finally hit jackpot when I applied it to hair after about about half an hour of shampooing and conditioning, when my hair was still a bit moist. Also, I only applied a pea-sized amount only to my dry ends… and Voila!!!! What a change. My hair looked the sleekest and the healthiest in a long, long time. I apply it to my hair once a week, and it never makes my hair oily and does not weigh it down.  Especially, if I blow dry and style my hair, it does look very beautiful.  The effect lasts for 3-4 days.

This product has many plant derivatives, so I am happy about that.  Moreover, it does not have any silicones and does not give the hair that slimy, smooth touch that silicones often do. Also, since switching to a sulphate and silicone-free hair care regimen, I am glad that this serum does not have any added chemicals. My hair has become softer, smoother and more hydrated, and split ends are a story of the past.
