Happiness is when you find beauty products in your mommy’s vanity that can be reviewed on IMBB. In the past, my experience with two-in-one facial scrubs/facial masks have been disappointing, but Pond’s Clear Balance No Blackheads Deep Cleansing Facial Scrub proved to be an exception. Let’s see how this one worked on my oily combination skin.

Direction:
Wet your face, foam the cleanser, apply to your face with gentle massage and then rinse off. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with water immediately.

My Take on Pond’s Clear Balance No Blackheads Deep Cleansing Facial Scrub:

I have always loved Pond’s packaging, especially these facial foams. The plastic tube with flip open cap is soft and travel friendly. The label is attractive and the tube carries all the essential information about the product.

The product has a thick consistency with a mousse-like texture.  It’s a grey facial scrub with tiny and gentle exfoliating particles. The amount shown in the swatch is more than enough for a single use.  It lathers rich with a dime-sized amount.

The gentle exfoliants in the scrub do not feel harsh on the skin and remove the dead skin cells gently. However, they fail to remove stubborn whiteheads and blackheads. This product is suitable for regular use and reduces whiteheads considerably. The facial foam clears pores and removes oil and makeup effectively. You can clearly see clean and clear pores after every wash. It is a winner in this category.

With volcanic clay as the primary ingredient, it works as a magnet to clear out dirt particles. Overall, for 2.5 bucks, this is a great product for oily/combination skin as it does not dry out the skin at all. I think regular use will clear out blackheads as well.

A definite yes for recommendation and repurchase.  I have been using Pond’s Clear Balance Deep Cleansing Foam since 4 years. But, with this gentle facial foam and scrub combined in one tube, I have found a handy product in my busy routine.  You will surely like it. One tube will easily last for a month.
