I am a new writer and I am very excited about writing for IMBB. I am pursuing Engineering in Mumbai and I am from Udaipur. I will be reviewing Pond’s White Beauty Pearl Cleansing gel. I was shopping in a grocery store when I saw its banner and as I was staying at my relatives for the time being and had no cleansing facewash with me so I thought of giving it a try. No, I am not obsessed with fair skin, I was looking for a good cleansing facewash, as I have had past experience with Pond’s different-different facewashes, I trusted my instincts and went for the facewash.
It claims to give glowing refreshed fair skin after wash without drying the skin as it has oxy-gel formula with pearl essence.
Price: 165 Rs. For 100 grams.

My take on Pond’s White Beauty Pearl Cleansing Gel:
It comes in a pink tube which is travel-friendly. According to me the facewash is reasonably priced for the quantity offered. The gel is transparent and slightly dense with what looks like air bubbles in it. The advertisement says that these bubbles are pearl essence. Nevertheless these bubble like things disappear as you apply the facewash. You do not have to burst them. The face wash has the typical Pond’s facewash smell with a slight flowery punch. The facewash foams decently. The cleansing action of the gel is okay but if you are expecting extensive cleansing I would say don’t get your hopes high. The facewash does give a light glow to the skin which might fade away within fifteen minutes or so. I have slight oily skin and after using facewash made for oily skin my skin tends to get a bit dry so I was hoping for something great from this facewash. After using it my skin felt slightly dry. Honestly speaking, I expected more from this facewash as it claims to have oxy-gel formula but I felt it is not different from Pond’s daily face wash. The same results can be obtained from the latter facewash. Also the other one claims to be soap-free. Why not opt for the other one then. This facewash has been a big disappointment. I was expecting something great from the claim made by Pond’s but it is not satisfactory.

Do I recommend Pond’s White Beauty Pearl Cleansing Gel?
Although it is a good facewash but as it is not different as it claims I do not recommend this wash. Instead I would use any other better facewashes out there. It is wastage of money. I will not buy it again.

After watching its ad I was eager to buy it but now I’m not sure 🙁
This is one of the pathetic face washes I hv ever used.. I usually hv a dry skin and since it was promised that this won’t leave my skin dry, I bought it. But now this has started leavin my face even more unusually dry. After starting to use this my face feels dry even after using moisturisers. I consider I hv done biggest Mistake in my life by using this. I rate it 0.
