Pregnancy Diet for Conceiving a Baby Boy

Following a specific and balanced diet for conceiving a specific gender only increases the chances of having the desired gender; it DOESN’T assure that you will have a girl or a boy after following these diets.

So all the mothers-to-be or those who are planning pregnancy can keep their fingers crossed and follow these diets.  So all the best. :)

For conceiving a baby boy an alkaline rich diet is a must. Alkaline is supposedly the cervical fluid which is more conducive for transmitting the Y chromosomes which are required to fuse with the eggs to envisage a baby boy.  Diet basically either increases the pH level or reduces it. A high pH level enables conceiving a baby girl easily whilst a low pH level which means more alkaline level enables conceiving a baby boy easily.

Firstly a high calorie diet is a must for conceiving a baby boy. A study reveals that out of 100%, 56% woman who had high calorie diet gave birth to baby boys, whereas the remnant percentage of women who had a low calorie diet gave birth to beautiful daughters. :)

On an average a woman must increase about 400 calories in her diet to conceive a baby boy. Researches show that women in the western countries tend to give birth to baby girls more due to their sedentary and “no exercise” lifestyle, which causes them to skip meals and eat food with less calories. :)

Inclusion of Cereals specifically in your breakfast plays an important role in your baby boy planned diet and most importantly never never skip your breakfast, since skipping breakfast can give a chance to the development of the female embryo. Include cereals like barley, oatmeal, wheat berries and flakes in your diet. You can mix these cereals with fruits and nuts too. A study reveals that about 87% women who had breakfast daily were more likely conceive a baby boy.
Alkaline rich food tilts the pH level of the cervical fluid making it less acidic, which is supposed to be an appropriate environment for the Y chromosome to survive and enable the production of a male fetus. The expecting parents must increase the alkaline food stuffs in their diet.

A pregnant woman who is willing to conceive a baby boy must not eat refrigerated fruits. Fruits which are maintained in the normal room temperature must be eaten.

Not just alkaline rich food, but food which is rich in potassium, and vitamin C, D and B12 also help in conceiving a baby boy. A pregnant woman should incorporate potassium rich food stuffs, like bananas, asparagus, almonds potatoes, apples, avocados, red meats, artichoke, strawberries and steaks in her diet. Also sodium rich food stuffs like nuts, apricots, figs and raisins also simplify the process of conceiving a baby boy. Baked potato with skins is supposedly the richest source of potassium. A rich body glucose level also plays an important role in conceiving baby boys.

Salty food stuffs like salted peanuts; pickled foods, potato chips etc also maximize your chances of having a baby boy. Even seafood is a great source of salt, but before consuming nay seafood please confirm with your doctor.
Food stuffs like cheeses, yogurt and legumes must be avoided since they increase acidity level of the cervical fluid and they cheer in the formation of a female embryo. Junk food, and processed food stuffs should also be avoided since they are highly acidic and devoid of nutrients.

List of food stuffs which will help in conceiving a baby boy:

Dried fruits like dates, prunes, figs and raisins
Pork and beef

Alkalize your body, this can be done by having an alkaline rich diet or douching. Get a pH testing kit for keeping a watch on your pH levels. Test your pH before starting your diet for conceiving a baby boy. Also keep eating regularly through out the day to keep up to the high calorie count.

am sharing here my experience though
during my pregnancy I have never eaten more calories at all.
but I never used to skip my bfast
regarding the temparatue of food, i had eaten loads and loads of icecreams .
it used to be my staple diet all the ten months time lols :yelo:
I have never eaten pickles, apples too. banana and seedless grapes were the only fruits which i Used to eat.
have nt even touched lemon at all.
I had eaten lots of cheese too.
even my glucose levels were not high though.

but you know we got blessed with a baby boy :-*

I just got notified by my OBGYN that I am in the ‘early stages of pregnancy.’ Ofcouse it came as a shock to both me and my husband. I am hoping that the list (above) will help fulfill my hubbys wish to have the first baby to be a son :)
Is their anything else that I can do to ensure to have a healthy baby? what about exercising? can I do it?
I did have a miscarriage about seven months ago and I develop ovarian cysts :(
please pray for my pregnancy to be a healthy one :)

Hi desichic, ovarian cysts will not harm your baby in any way now. I think you should not excercise and take it easy and enjoy your pregnancy. Eat good healthy food, listen to music, pray, and in generally be happy and cut off negativity, and you will have a healthy baby. Best of luck :woot: :woot:

Hi,I came across this article while I was searching for a diet for clear skin.
Its very well written.:-) .But I think you should speak to your doctor,and he/she might explain to you that there have been no true scientific research that could prove that food affects the gender of the unborn baby. It is completely in the chromosomes.And the food selection won’t help with the gender. A healthy baby irrespective of its gender should be the motto for every pregnant woman. And those research studies posted online have no reliability. So have a good balanced diet and you will have a healthy baby. :-) God Bless you.

Hi Zeeba,Very nice research but I have some questions dear. I have a 2yrs beautiful baby girl and now i am seriously planning for a boy and i have also heard about eating alkaline food for conceiving baby boy and I am seriously planning to do this so can u just let me know that how many days prior should i start this Deit chart and i regularly go to gym so can I continue doing it……. :)
