Hi all the lovely experts of IMBB,
I have a question about primers. Nowadays there’s so much fuss about primers for eyes, lips, face, etc etc that I thought of giving it a try. It will be my first primer, so I don’t want to spend too much on it and want it to be within INR 700. I look washed out after 1-1.5 hours of applying makeup and my t-zone looks like oil well which needs constant touch-ups. I have very oily combination skin, a warm skin undertone and my complexion is wheatish towards fairer side. Please help.

I just bought Revlon photoready primer last month. I also have combination skin but not ‘very oily’. It works just fine for me…It stays put for 5-6 hrs with a foundation and powder on top… I really liked it…I had to use a blotting tissue after 6 hrs…
I am using Bodyography veil primer..So far, my only tried primer, but m pretty happy with this and not planning to change soon. Keeps face oil free for hours. Have tried in June also. Makeup remains fresh for good 4-5 hours at least. *powder*
Not tried beyond that though.

L’oreal Paris Base Magique Transforming Smoothing Primer will work best for your skin type. But it would cost you INR 800
inglot has a very good primer for oily skin. 🙂
Hey,if you increase your budget a little bit you could go in for Loreal Base Magique Primer (Rs.800) or Inglot for Rs 900 ..
i hav super oily skin nd i luv luv my inglot primer…do try it. itss for Rs. 900 bt u need a very less amount so it vl last long with you. Its worth every penny:)
A small query, primers are applied aftr the ctm routine or jus afte facewash,i mean do v need to moisturize, i hav oily- combi skin ….pls help!!!!
I am using the Loreal Base Magique primer, loving it so far. keeps my face oil free for 5 to 6 hours 🙂
I have also used the Bodyography foundation primer and its a good one, the smaller one costs just 375/- 🙂
