Make up course in New Delhi

Professional Makeup Courses in Delhi

For the past 4-5 months, I had been hunting for a professional makeup course before finding one eventually. Every time I used to shortlist a makeup course or a makeup school/ academy for myself, something or the other used to happen and I could never take up that course. Finally I did a 2 week professional certificate course at Vidya Tikari and I was very happy with the course.

My criteria for picking up the course:

I wanted to pick up a course that

  • I could manage with my work. I cannot takeup a course that would need a full time devotion.
  • would give me professional knowledge about the various products in market, and
  • would teach me basic techniques of makeup.

I was not looking for a career opportunity because I don’t aspire to become a professional makeup artist. I just wanted to learn and grow my knowledge about something that I love very much- makeup. Following is the list of makeup course which I discovered in Delhi during my research, and a little review on all of them. This might help a few of you who must be willing to take up a professional makeup course.

VLCC Professional Makeup Course

Duration 2 months / 90 hours

  • Make Up Theory
  • Tools of Make Up
  • Different Eye Make Up
  • Day Make Up ( 3 types )
  • Evening Make Up
  • Engagement Make Up
  • Reception Make Up
  • Bridal Make Up
  • Corrective Make Up
  • Ramp Make Up / Illusion Make Up
  • Portfolio Make Up / Fantasy Make Up
  • Glossy Make Up / Black & White Make Up

Career Opportunities : Beauty Industry, Hotels, Cosmetic units, Academic Institutes, Fashion Industry, TV and Film Industry

My Take: The only reason I didn’t pick up this course was because the staff was very pushy. Whatever little belief I had in their course just vanished because they kept calling and asking me when was I going to visit them, or telling me how good their course was and blah blah. It might be an excellent course but my first impressions were just not good at all. I also didn’t know who was going to teach  or the experiences their teachers had.

Ambika Pillai

The bigger her name is in makeup industry, the smaller is the duration of the the courses she offers. 3 Day self grooming course, which covered basic makeup classes. the duration of the classes was 3 hours.

Fees : 20,000

Also, her courses are not held at regular intervals. If she holds a course this month, you can never be sure when will it take place next.

Pearl Academy of Fashion Diploma in Fashion and Media Make-Up

They offer one year course, and conduct classes 3 days a week. Excellent course if you aspire to become a professional makeup artist. A lot of MAC Makeup artists in Delhi are passouts from Pearl Academy of fashion. I just didn’t have patience to spare one complete year for a makeup course so I didn’t pick it up. I would have have, if I could. This course is excellent even for those who don’t even have a basic knowledge about makeup. Complete Details HERE

Lakme Training Academy:

They have courses in advance Diploma in Hair and Skin. Both the courses are 17 week courses. The fees for both the courses is Rs 90,000 and RS 70, 00 resp. They offer a loan assistance for the course and a job guarantee at the end of the course.

Makeup Studio Professional Makeup Course

It was a one month makeup course, had classes from 11 a.m to 5 p.m and covered everything I wanted to learn. They even teach airbrushing techniques during the one month period. In March, they told me that the complete fees of the course was Rs 40, 000 and the course was staring in April. I was convinced that this is what I wanted to do. The counsellor had completely convinced me about the course and was in touch with me the entire month. She said that this did not include the makeup kit, just a regular brush kit and they provide the makeup to students for practice and all. My search for the course ended here and I stopped looking for courses. Finally, a few days before the course was about to start, my hubby and I went to pay the fees. The counsellor who was in touch with me, wasn’t present at the center so I talked to her over the phone. She asked me to pay 20k fees then and “rest of the fees” later on. I was about to pay the fees when my hubby asked me to call up the counselor again and confirm the amount of the rest of the fees. I called her up again and this time she told me that the rest of the fees was Rs 40,000. This means that the complete fees was actually Rs 60,000. The entire month the counselor kept lying to me. Well! when I confronted her, she never admitted her mistake. She said that she told the correct fees to everyone and I was the only one she made a mistake of telling the fees. I mean she talked to me atleast 5-6 times during the course of one month, you can make a mistake once or twice but not so many times. I was really heartbroken. One because my whole month was wasted and two I had to start my search for a makeup course again. :(

They called me later to apologize and even offered me to join to some  other course. But I had completely lost my faith in them and now I wasn’t even sure whether they would even live up to the promises about the course as well. They might even charge for a makeup kit later. At least I wouldn’t recommend their course to anyone.

MUD ( Makeup Designory)  Makeup Course by Samantha Kochhar:

It is a one month makeup course and they give you a professional makeup kit along with the course. They conduct classes 5 days a week and you get to practice with MUD makeup products. The only problem with this course was that I would have been stuck with only one makeup brand. Not too much of an issue but still it’s always good if you can play with different products, textures and know what’s going around you.

Well! Samantha Kochhar knew about IMBB so she was never interested in teaching me. Initially, her staff kept lying to me that the course was not starting or that Samantha was traveling and zillion other reasons. I was waiting and waiting so that they could tell me the exact date about when the course was starting. They never did. One day I made my friend call up at the institute to find out if the course was going on and they said that it was. Finally we realized that she was never willing to teach me because I had a blog and I could use her tips and tricks. She even called me up and she said that students have to sign a contract that states that students will never use the techniques she will teach to them and that MUD owners had problems with a blogger earlier who made her videos after learning from them. I told her that they train people to become professional makeup artists, and the students are free to do what they wish after they complete the course, and as teachers they should in fact encourage their students.  :( Well! she gave me examples of how she never reveals her techniques when she does makeup on stage and blah blah! Her next batch was starting next month but they never bothered to inform me.

The saga of so-called celebrity makeup artist.

The makeup course I would say might be good but if at all you join it, please be on your guards as to what you would tell Miss Kochhar about your future plans. Also, don’t sign any contracts. What is the point of paying 60k if you cannot use the course to your own benefit?

Vidya Tikari

They offer a 2 week course in which they cover most of the tips and techniques of makeup. Also, they work with different products ranging from Kraylon, KET, VOV, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Chanel, Inglot, Makeup Forever, …You name it and they use it.  You also get in touch with the dealers who supply professional makeup products. Vidya Tikari is a celebrity makeup artist and has an experience of more than 20 years in the field.

Fees : Rs 40, 000

The course includes two makeup classes for hair and draping, which in my opinion were useless.

My biggest concern regarding this course was that the duration of the course was less and the fees was more. I had a word with a few people regarding the course and everyone had good words to say about both Vidya and her course.

I anyway took up the course and I am glad I did.

I would say that this course is best for people who have some basic knowledge about makeup, and the products that are available in the market. If you are very new to makeup, I would say that you do a basic course first and then probably join this course. The course moves very fast and a huge onus of gaining from the course lies on you. Vidya creates magic in her classes but it is all coming from her experience. You should be willing to work hard and gain as much from her. She will tell you every single thing you ask her. Not even a single day I felt that she was hiding things from us or was not willing to her tips and tricks. My batch had people who were running their own salon, makeup artists who had an experience of 12 years and a model but Vidya had no issues with that. Everyone was welcome in her class.  Their staff was supportive in every possible way. We can go to the studio and practice even after the course is completed.

I personally think that I have gained a lot from the course both in terms of different products one can use for different occasions and different techniques of makeup. But as they say, makeup is an art and the more your practice, the more finesse and perfection would come in your hands. If it would have been a longer course, it would have been great because we would have got more time to practice. But honestly I gained a lot from it and I am going to share lots of things with you guys as we move ahead. :)

Full information HERE

I hope this post proves helpful to a few of you who might be willing to take up a makeup course. If you have any questions regarding the same, let me know. I’ll try to answer. :)

PS: Vidya Tikari didn’t ask me to write this post. In fact I was so on guards after the Samantha Kochhar experience that I barely mentioned about IMBB at the institute. :( This post is just my personal experience.

regarding samantha kochhar, i m wondering how can a teacher be so mean…glad u didnt joined her…she wouldnt hv revealed 100 %.

Rati June 28, 2010 at 6:43 pm

That’s what my biggest concern was. I would pay also and still she wouldn’t have told all the stuff. :(

I don’t even consider her as a teacher. Teachers teach their students and impart all the knowledge that they have to their students. I don’t know what was she thinking.

sheena November 23, 2010 at 10:08 pm

where is the studio of samntha kochhar located in delhi?

Palak June 28, 2010 at 6:44 pm

You had such a ball , eh !
feeling bad at how the people at Samantha Kochar treated you :( .. whats the point in learning more bout make up tips and techniques if you are not allowed to “share” your experience and tips with other .. and bloggers aint allowed to post about such things and they are asked to sign a contract !! Ridiculous .. Baby , I aint joining Samantha kochar classes for sure !! Thats plain ludicrous :P
I’m interested to join some make up classes later .. maybe after graduation and I think Pearl would be my obvious choice or maybe Vidya Tikari :D
Do share the tips you learnt at VT classes .. I’m sure she wont sue you :silly:
.-= Palak´s last blog ..Beyu eye Base-Primer review =-.

Rati June 28, 2010 at 6:54 pm

You know , Palak. More than the makeup it’s Vidya’s attitude towards things that make you respect her even more. She is so secured about what she is doing. Would you believe she did the makeup for the models at Zara launch? :) We used to be all fascinated by her strokes and perfection during our classes.

If time allows you, pick up Pearl’s course and you can always do Vidya’s course later on. :)

I will share all the stuff with you guys, in fact that would be a great learning for me as well. :)

I think Samantha Kochhar was just insecured and she even mentioned that if I share her tips and techniques, she would lose her MUD franchisee. God knows, what’s the truth!

Sunayana June 28, 2010 at 7:01 pm

Wow Rati, I must say that I am so impressed with the wide range of things related to makeup and beauty you manage to cover in this blog! Fantastic post!

Rati June 28, 2010 at 8:15 pm

Thank you, Sunayana. :) I love makeup, no. All these things come naturally. :P

Poornima June 28, 2010 at 7:03 pm

Excellent round up Rati. Im glad you did his post.

And a person like Samantha Kochar + the attitude..I have seen this in my field of work too.

Sad, but true :-(

Palak June 28, 2010 at 7:08 pm

Poornima , Whats your profession ?? :P
Surprisingly I also have these kinda people in my proffesion .. i.e “student” :silly:
.-= Palak´s last blog ..Beyu eye Base-Primer review =-.

Poornima June 28, 2010 at 7:48 pm

LOL Palak..I am an interior designer by profession..

I also run an organisation which promotes traditional Indian arts and Artisans, where we work for reviving diff art forms of India, which also involves training and workshops for women..so thats where this problem comes.

Rati June 28, 2010 at 8:16 pm

Thank you, Poornima. you know I was dying to do her course but after talking to her I realized that it was not worth it and they wasted so much of my time playing tricks with me. :(

Palak June 28, 2010 at 7:07 pm

hehe .. that was absurd on Samantha’s part.. !! I read about MUD cosmetics on Dr Neeraj’s blog .. Do they also have stores in Delhi .. did you try anything from there ?
You tend to respect people who are sure of themselves and their profession .. I love how you described about your experience in classes .. it made me think how approachable a person like Vidya would be . . so looking for a post on these tricks .. excited .. gee :-))
.-= Palak´s last blog ..Beyu eye Base-Primer review =-.

Rati June 28, 2010 at 8:18 pm

No palak, as of now they don’t retail. It’s only through their course that they offer complete makeup kits provided by MUD. They might retail the products in future.

Vidya is pretty approachable . In fact, she even lets you watch how she does makeup for her real clients. :)

ki. June 28, 2010 at 7:23 pm

Sweetie, you know my take on this – it was their loss and your gain that you finally picked vidya :))

Rima Kaur June 28, 2010 at 10:25 pm

pearl sounds interesting and samantha seems to be bound by contract. how can you learn something and not spread it? boo!

Rati June 28, 2010 at 10:31 pm

Honestly, Rima. I don’t believe in it but that’s exactly what she told me. Why would anyone join your course and pay you 60 k if one cannot use the knowledge only ?

Rima Kaur June 28, 2010 at 10:27 pm

i’m very intrigued by vidya tikari too. it’s great that the course is only for a couple of weeks. what all did the kit include?
.-= Rima Kaur´s last blog ..Beneath The Smiles =-.

Rati June 28, 2010 at 10:30 pm

They just give you regular 12 brushes. They are okayish and good for practicing and rough usage. During the course they provide you with their own makeup to practice. You just have to carry your brushes with you everyday. oh!! I so miss my classes. :(

I could also do the course because that course was for two weeks. :)

sheena November 23, 2010 at 9:40 pm

wat’s the rate of pearl academy for diploma in proffesional makeup

Sanjeev June 28, 2010 at 11:58 pm

I have been present during two of these occasions. And I was surprised by the lack of professionalism shown by both makeup studio and Samantha Kochhar. I run an educational institute myself hence I am very cautious about fees in any educational institute. I asked Rati to confirm about the ‘rest of the fees’ because I wanted to be sure about the service tax part. Most of the times, institutes tell their fees without including/mentioning the service tax. Imagine my surprise and shock to hear that they were charging 20k more than their counselor had told us on the phone. And I was also right about the service tax part not being told. We were angry at this malpractice over there itself. The owner of the place came and took us to his office. He said there might have been a mistake in telling us the fees. It was a lie because we had confirmed the fees several times over the phone. I told the owner there itself that I also ran a business and that I tell all my students and parents about the fees clearly. Also, I was very shocked to see the unprofessionalism displayed by the owner himself. If any of my colleague had conveyed this kind of ‘low fees’ I would have first enrolled the student at that mentioned low fees only, and then blasted the colleague later. I would have lost some revenue but I would not have let anyone tarnish the brand name of my company. As far as I could gather, the owner was aware of this hiding of the complete fee and was in favor of these kinds of tactics.

As for Samantha Kochhar, I was hearing her when she was telling Rati about the contract thing over the phone. I personally think that the contract thing is a lie. She probably did it just to scare her away. But still, if a teacher is so insecure she is certainly not going to teach well. To pay 60k to a teacher who is so scared about her tricks going out is foolish.

As it is, Vidya Tikari is the best makeup artist in Delhi. I am glad that Rati joined her. :)

Urmi June 29, 2010 at 1:31 am

The whole fiasco is ridiculously kiddish… I dont think she wld have been that great either…. dil khol ke nahin sikha pati :)
btw, just checked out vidya tikari’s portfolia… very very impressive….:)

Rati June 29, 2010 at 9:24 am

I agree Urmi. Even if I would have joined her course I would have never been sure whether she was even teaching the right stuff. It wouldn’t have made any difference to her but it wold have been a bigger loss to me.

I am glad I joined Vidya’s course. Although I agree I would need a lot of practice but at least she taught everyone alike and helped us in every possible way. :)

Yeah, her portfolio is excellent. We used to be awestruck by her in classes. he he. :P

Sabrina June 29, 2010 at 2:00 am

Hi Rati….Many thanks for your email. I’ll be replying tonight. I really liked what you said about the Vidya Tikari course and I just followed your link to her website. It looks very interesting indeed, I would love to take up a make up course with her. Thats really bad and mean of Samantha Kochar, I’m glad you didnt go in for her course. Whats the use of gaining knowledge and experience if you cant share it? Strange logic, but she was the loser so let her keep her knowledge to herself!

Rati June 29, 2010 at 9:25 am

Do join Vidya’s course whenever you can. You will gain a lot from there.

I agree knowledge is about spreading and sharing with people. :)

Will wait for your mail. :)

Deepti February 7, 2011 at 3:43 pm

Im lukin for a make-up course for media, models, films and television so can you please guide me to whom I should get in touch with.

Thanks
Deepti

jomol June 29, 2010 at 5:22 am

Hey Rati…I am so glad you rejeted that Samantha Kohar’s (I am going to miss some “c’s” only till Wednesday :-) ). I think she should ompletely stop teahing professional ourses to students, beause then she will be alled a teaher and a teaher has to impart her knowledge and by the way she is inseure about letting out her tehnique and &rap, I don’t think she is going to teah her students anything. I am aware of this type of thinking and the students who pay hefty fees to “LEARN” from her would truly be deprived of the true knowledge that they ould learn somewhere else….boo :shout: to you Samantha….BTW, I have seen her in one of the makeover shows on NDTV or somewhwere and believe me, the guys and gals were muh better before they got made over by Samantha…..

rs June 29, 2010 at 7:18 am

 Oh Jomol! the last line of your comment..

jomol June 29, 2010 at 7:52 am

:-D :-D :rotfl: Hey rs…”made out” thing…na…. :-D

rs June 29, 2010 at 10:55 am

I laughed because I tried to imagine what went wrong with their looks after the great Samantha “MUD Devi” did their make up.Its good that Rati have left behind the whole issue but I truly feel that Samantha should have more honest with Rati. This almost hide and seek game of ‘the course is not starting now’ and this and that did no good to her reputation as a make up artist.

rs June 29, 2010 at 11:13 am

Missed the word ‘been’(should have been)in the 4th line of my above comment.Guess I should be more careful while posting comments.

Rati June 29, 2010 at 9:30 am

loll!!! Jomol I am forgiving your “C”s this time. I am so used to of reading comments without C now that I will feel weird when that evil “C” come back. Don’t get it back. I am sure radhika will agree. :giggle: :giggle:

I have lost respect fro Samantha. Her course might be excellent but I would never recommend her course to anyone. And by the way she has forgotten that she also learnt all these techniques from somewhere and had her teachers been dishonest she would have not become what she is today. :pissedoff:

Radhika June 29, 2010 at 7:05 am

Heyy Rati..good for you the Samantha thing didn’t work out….strange that she should feel so insecure!! And thank goodness you didnt sign up at that fishy-liar place – goodness knows what other hidden charges would have come out later. I am a complete makeup dodo, so I suppose if I look for something like this, I should search for some place where they start from the basics…

Rati June 29, 2010 at 9:33 am

Rads, i never thought makeup classes would be so much fun. Luckily I got such an excellent batch where every one was enthusiastic about learning and everyone was there to help each other. That really added to the overall experience. :)

I am sure you would enjoy if you join some classes. :)

jomol June 29, 2010 at 7:50 am

Hey, Rati, I know many people will be so grateful to you for having eposed that hideous “etra harge” ourse…..many people just walk into these kind of traps and so many small amounts are added, whih is ompletely unethial….good that you took Sanjeev along……what if you had paid the fees…suh hideous institutes do have a strong “nonrefundable” poliy in plae……. :-D …….I would like to all Sanjeev “haha houdhary”…. :-)

Rati June 29, 2010 at 9:34 am

Yes he is a ha ha ha ha ha haudhry ha ha h aha :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Rati June 29, 2010 at 9:36 am

I am already searching for a hiding place, Rads. I don’t want that wicked “C ” to come back. :curse: :curse:

pallavi September 13, 2010 at 2:36 am

hey..i too want to learn make up..but just for self!
i have never used make-up ever in life except for a little bit of kajal and lip gloss..i am getting married this year and want to learn make-up so i can look lady like and pretty.

currently im in delhi could u suggest a make-up course with less number of days and money!
as in 40,000 is way too much does this include the make-up kit..also wht products does VT use?? i wanna learn MAC as i will be travelling all around the world after my wedding and MAC is available in almost every country.

Rati September 13, 2010 at 9:56 am

Hi Pallavi,

Welcome to IMBB. :)

As mentioned in my post, that my course did not include the makeup kit . We only 10 a professional brush kit, which in my opinion is of mediocre quality. It works well with beginners but if you have used some high quality brushes you might not find Vidya Tikari’s brush kit to be anything great.

At Vidya Tikari’s we have used products starting from VOV to Chanel and yes she uses a huge range of MAC products.

You can check out Michelle Montes, she takes workshops etc. and I think her charges are lesser than Vidya Tikari. I have never seen her work, just going by friend’s opinion. :)

Mani September 25, 2010 at 4:03 pm

Hey!
I have learnt professional makeup from Samantha Kochhar, this was almost 5 years back. Like you i never aspired to be a professional artist but just because I am passionate abt makeup!
I am not sure if MUDD is recent or not, but when I learnt it the institute was called Pivot point, this was in East of kailash, delhi.

I had an amazing experience with her. She was supportive and encouraging. There might be a possibility of guarding your makeup secret but everybody does tht!!!
The techniques are only so many, at the end of it, its your creativity. There werent problems then to make videos. I never did, but some would take snaps and stuff for records. They welcomed us everytime, even when the course was over. Infact, they wanted us to get experience, I remember going to a couple of shows with the staff to help them backstage!!

As beginners we used kryolan, etude and revlon. The kit was really helpful as well, and I remember the course being for 25K tht time. Have nothing realy left from the kit, and to tell you the truth i remember only the techniques i use for myself now.
Its really sad to hear you had tht kind of experience with her!

Rati September 25, 2010 at 4:43 pm

Hi Mani,

I am glad you had a great experience with Samantha. Infact I was dying to learn makeup from her because I respected her for for what she was/is . She just didn’t teach me and even made her staff lie to me a couple of time. I wasted so many months believing her lies. :(( Later someone told me that she did the same thing with someone else also. I don’t respect her any more.

Now they have tied up with MUD cosmetics for their course and fees is around 60 k. the office is now shifted to Nehru Place and it’s still called Pivot Point.

I like Kraylon product. Especially some of their bases are really good but I don’t think they can be used on day to day basis. What do you think? :)

Glad you wrote this post. And I am happy you learnt good things from her.:)

Mani September 27, 2010 at 10:12 pm

Yeah, I have good memories of it and I am really glad I did that course!

I love kraylon concealors. They do a pretty neat job. Sometimes I just take a bit of it, mix it with my moisturizer and thats my base! I don’t use to much of correctors though. Don’t like a heavy look at all.
However, I didn’t like their primer. Found it too liquidy! It didn’t do anything for my skin. It’s been a while, but I remember it making me really oily(have combination skin)

What do you think of primers? I use only for my eyes(for the shadow to be even and last long) MAC Fast response eye cream, nothing on my face, only a good moisturiser! what about u?

Tatjana December 14, 2010 at 12:34 pm

Great article :waytogo: Very interesting…. indeed.

Rati December 14, 2010 at 1:00 pm

Thanks, Tatjana. :)

indigirl January 5, 2011 at 12:22 pm

Hey, happened to stumble upon this blog while searching for classes and spent an fun one hour on it ;-) Best part is that you seem to have a dedicated set of readers.

Rati, would you happen to know of any makeup lessons in Bangalore? I usually do liner, lipstick and compact when I go out but am really bored of this. One of my NY resolutions is to be a lil more inventive with my makeup. MAC makeup lesson ( 1 hr+products for Rs.5000/-) was my first choice but they seem to have discontinued it. I am just looking for a short lesson in applying foundation, eye color, and smoky eyes. Maybe 1-2 days. Too lazy to go through online tutorials and practise it…

Do suggest if you know of something.

Hi

I just wanted to thank you for this blog… I am shifting to the UK owing to marriage now and have been desperately exploring all possible options to find my self an occupation there… I studied there but the job market is so dry tht i could not land my self a job there… so i just spoke with my husband and told him I woul dlike to do a quick make up course… I am in India for the next month or so…. and I just could not undrstand what to do and where to start… now this really awesome makeup artist called sonai did my wwedding makeup and since I was a TV producer earlier I have seen her paint faces of artists during my shoots… so I thought I would ask her to teach me but she is charging me 45000 for 15 days without any kit or anything… I am so new to all this that I did not know what to do… but thanks to your blog I got some clarity on things…. really u know it takes a huge heart to dispense with experiences and knowledge and I am thankful to you to share your experiences with such ease… thanks a lot.

Hi, thank u so much for such brief experience about various makeup artist and institutes as I am searching one of the best institute who can teach me all makeup techniques from beginning to end i mean to say that includes the basic course as well,as i am new to this profession and want to make my career in this field. Please advise me the best institute in Delhi which charges nominal or affordable fees. Will be waiting for your reply. :victory2:

Garima April 12, 2012 at 8:53 pm

Hi Rati. Thanks for sharing your experience with us.My question is similar to Madhuri.Would be really great if you could advise of an institute which teaches the End to end make up expertise i.e. starting from the basic to the high level.Do Vidya Tikari has some course which teaches the basics as well??

Anna May 15, 2012 at 10:12 am

Can you suggest any begginers course in delhi? I would like to take up a basic makeup course, since i have been recently given permission to wear makeup and would like have atleast a basic knowledge before applying for any course

Astha Agarwal June 3, 2012 at 12:44 am

Hi, I might be writing here too late but i just couldn’t stop myself from writing this. Im a MUD student and honestly, if u ask me, SAMANTHA KOCCHAR is a superb makeup artist n a great teacher. For a novice student like me, she literally held my hand and made me do makeup. And not only her, other offcials too are like this at MUD. And the fear of loosing a trick or anything of that sort, im sorry to say Rati, i did not feel that. U see a person, interact with them, be with them for good 3 months, u definitely know em!!!!! Trust me, she is contrary to what has been mentioned about her over here.

Im not writing this to advertise her or her academy but because my teacher, my Guru, the person who has imparted me knowledge is being falsely blamed for not being true to her work!!!! NO, i really cant restrIn myself from reacting to it. Though no grudges against you…….:-)

Rati June 3, 2012 at 1:02 am

aastha, I would say you were lucky enough to join her course. and I am sure she gives her 100 percent to students who have paid such a high fees for her course. I just penned down my experience. I wouldnt blame anyone falsely. If you can gather from my post I gave samantha & MUD my first preference, only if she had let me join. :)

Glad you had a nice experience :)

Ritika Marwaha June 17, 2012 at 4:58 am

Hi Rati, read ur blog and found it very interesting and informative too.BTW I am a software engineer by profession but soon after the birth of my son I had to leave my job last year. Though right now I am in UK for a while but on returning since it will be close to a year and a half since I let my job I am a little reluctant in joing the so called software industry again.Since childhood I dreamt about being in the Fashion Industry and specially d makeup industry. I think it’s the right time that I make my dream come true. Thanks indeed to ur blog for letting me come it terms with the various courses and stuff. Please if possible let me know what are the carrer opportunities after doing a professional course or say after becoming a makeup artist and I mean what’s the industry like in Delhi and NCR. Thanks!!
