Purederm Chamomile Collagen Mask

Hello ladies

I am going through a skincare phase right now and that consists of a regular CTM routine along with weekend face packs. Normally I make my face masks at home with natural ingredients but this time I was tempted to try a Purederm mask. Purederm and Montagne Jeunesse are pioneers of skin care and hair care using natural ingredients and that’s why this. Although it’s a collagen mask and I am not in the anti-ageing thing right now but still wanted a plump healthier looking skin so opted for this.

Purederm-Chamomile-Collagen

What Purederm says about this:-

-Easy and effective skin recovery treatment blended with chamomile extract, collagen and vitamin E.
-this fast working formula lightly scented with chamomile helps to soothe and relax skin, leaving it soft, smooth and healthy looking.
-natural pulp sheet prevents skin trouble and provides close adhesion to the face.

Some cautions while using this mask are:-

• Avoid using on blemishes, pimples and irritated/sunburned skin.
• Avoid using on skin which is sensitive to bandage/taped.
• Use immediately after opening the packet.

How to use:-

• Thoroughly cleanse and dry face.
• Take out and unfold the mask and apply it on your face.
• Wear the mask for 15-20 minutes and peel off slowly from the edges.

My experience with Purederm Chamomile Collagen Mask:

I like creamy masks better than sheet masks because psychologically, I don’t get the feeling of a facial with a sheet mask, if you know what I mean: P but still sheet masks are so mess-free that you have got to try one of these. Purederm chamomile collagen mask consists of a use and throw packaging with the mask inside it dripping in all goodness. The mask contains so much pulp that it’s no longer non-messy. The mask is difficult to unfold and tears a little when you try too hard to unfold it. I applied this mask on a cleansed face and let it for 15 minutes after which I removed it.

The mask drips a little and you need a napkin to wipe off the pulp from your neck. The mask does not get dry. It remains the way it was just with some less pulp so don’t wait for the mask to Dry: P. After I removed it, my skin was thoroughly cleansed. It was soft and well moisturized. Except cleansing and moisturization, this mask did nothing more. No brightness or smoothness. So I am not going to recommend it or buy it again.

Pros of Purederm Chamomile Collagen Mask:

• Cleanses the skin nicely.
• There is no need of moisturization after this. It provides adequate moisturization.
• Cheap.
• Use and throw mask so no extra products on your shelf.

Cons of Purederm Chamomile Collagen Mask:

• Does nothing except cleansing.
• Extra pulp so it creates a mess.
• Mask tears if unfolding done hurriedly.

IMBB rating: 2.5/5

Will I buy it again? No, I will stick to my home made masks that contain no chemicals because no matter how organic these companies try to be, they will have to put some chemicals for preservation.

Take care
