Purederm Nourishing Repair Hair Mask – Chamomile

Hello gorgeous ladies,

I am sure everyone is getting ready and shopping and everyone’s mood is really cheerful and I wish people be happy like this the entire year round and it will be so much fun and positive. I got 2 hair packs from purederm, I have already reviewed one here called the purederm vital radiance hair mask-honey and this is the second one. Diwali is here so thought of doing a spa at home as my hair have become very frizzy at the ends. I had a very positive result from the honey mask so was expecting this one to be good enough too. Let’s see how this worked on my chemically treated and little frizzy hair.

My views on Purederm nourishing repair hair mask-chamomile:

I love such ready to use masks and the best brands preferred by me are Montagne juenesse and purederm because that one time use thing is so convenient. I have damaged hair due to rebonding, colouring and what not so thought this would be a great try to go for. It comes in an attractive yellowish orange coloured plastic packet which looks very pretty in the closet. Also it is very easy to carry along. Now it had some variant as well but I don’t know due to some reason I picked this chamomile one. The mask comes in pure white colour and thought it is supposed to be a creamy mask, it was not that creamy looks-wise. I had two packets and they had instructed to use it on wet hair but once I used it on dry hair as well due to laziness and trust me it was a mess. It could not be properly applied and the quantity seemed to be quite less when you apply it to dry hair and it became super thick. But on wet hair it glided nicely and stayed on perfectly after shampooing. This is supposed to be used instead of the conditioner.

The smell is the worst part about this mask. It is the worst smell that a hair mask has ever had. It smells like a hair colour having loads of chemicals and when you actually wash your hair after colouring your hair, you get that irritating smell that causes a headache, this has a similar smell. It irritated me badly and gave me a headache too. I let my hair air dry because I was not planning to step out of the house. After my hair dried they were soft and smooth and it seemed to have a good spa but the main claim was taking out the frizz which was not fulfilled to a very good extent. Although the frizz seemed to have reduced my hair did not look completely frizz free. And that was the main reason I got this hair mask for or else I know many masks which would give a deep conditioning. Overall I liked it after use but I have used better masks than this one and it was not that good that I would plan to get it again.

-Availability
-Cannot be used on dry hair and it created a big mess when I used it that way

Will I repurchase/recommend Purederm nourishing repair hair mask-chamomile?

No I do not intend to purchase this one as I like trying new stuff and this completely did not take my frizz away which was the main claim and people who don’t have frizzy hair may try this for deep conditioning and beware of the obnoxious smell.
