Rati’s First Chanel Bag: Red 2.55 With Mademoiselle Lock!

Ok, so officially my biwi’s last dream has also been fulfilled- she now owns a Chanel bag. I had told Rati a month ago “no matter how many LVs you buy, till you don’t own a Chanel bag, you don’t own a Chanel bag.” Big mistake. Neha and Jomol also got in the spirit and start pushing biwi to buy one. Ahh well, I got outnumbered 3 to 1. :( Rati bought a Classic Chanel 2.55 Red bag with Mademoiselle lock. For those who want to know the bag originally came with a front lock called “the Mademoiselle Lock” (in reference to Coco Chanel never marrying). Since the 1980s, versions can also be supplied with a lock in the shape of a double CC logo. These called “Classic Flaps”.
