RCMA No-Colour Setting Powder Review

Skin tone: Wheatish golden skin tone
Skin type: Oily and sensitive

Hello guys,
I am here with a very interesting review. Not many YouTube beauty gurus talk about the RCMA no colour powder but I have read that some celebrity beauty gurus swear by this product. And of course, I had to pick it up and try it myself to see why this is so amazing. Read my review to find out if this powder is a hit or a total dud.

RCMA No Colour Setting Powder Review

Price:
10 dollars for 3oz product (excluding shipping charges)

Ingredients:
No ingredients list given on package or on the official website but the company claims:-

“Our products contain only vegetable oils, pure waxes and FDA approved colours. It does NOT contain any perfume, lanolin, petrolatum or mineral oil–the first two have caused allergenic reactions on some skins and the last two are not absorbed by the skin so remain to cause excess oiliness on the surface. Note that theatrical foundations contain mineral oil or petrolatum, as a major ingredient.”

Packaging:
The packaging is pretty basic. It is a plastic bottle with a shifter type cap which is quite easy to use.

Texture:
I really thought that the texture of this powder would be extra smooth, but is a little rough. Not too rough, but it doesn’t feel quite soft like the Coty Airspun powder or the basic Johnson’s baby powder.

Pigmentation:
There is no colour in this powder. When you swirl it around on your hand, you will see a white colour but when you actually bake with it or put it on your face, there is literally no colour. I love this fact.

My Experience with RCMA No-Colour Setting Powder:

I have heard that this powder is great for baking and can set any creasy concealer or foundation. I have oily skin and most concealers tend to crease quickly if I don’t set them or if the powder is not good enough, they crease in few hours. I tested this product for few days and I love it. This has now become my Holy Grail setting powder because it doesn’t change the colour of my foundation and it doesn’t make my skin oily too. The best thing is that it doesn’t dry out the skin either.

cap

It will not provide you with a sheen or shine but it does the work of keeping your makeup from melting or creasing. I have few wrinkles under my eyes and this powder blurs it out a little. It doesn’t let my foundation or concealer sink into the lines but rather makes the lines less visible. The only issue is that if you have dry skin, you might not like this powder and if you go too much with it then you might feel your skin is drying up too much. I did bake with this but I did not use tons of powder to bake my under eyes.

packaging

Also, it does not conceal anything so if you are expecting it to conceal tiny blemishes, you won’t like the powder. This could get a little messy as the powder does fly here and there. Nonetheless, it kept the creasing away from my face for 8 hours, which is highly impressive. I love this product and I think everyone should give this a try. According to me, this is a must-have in your vanity.
