I am back with another review. This time it is gel eyeliner from Revlon Colorstay Range. I recently started using gel eyeliner and Maybelline is my favorite. Two days back when I was going through my mom’s makeup box I found this cute tube. There are 4 shades in this range out of which 3 have already been reviewed on IMBB.

My take on Revlon Charcoal Charbon Colorstay Gel Eyeliner:

The packaging of the eyeliner is very innovative. The brush of the eyeliner is attached in the upper half of the cap. You need to detach it to use. The brush fits in nicely and you can close it by rotating. The cap is black in color and the eyeliner container is of transparent glass-like material. The cap closes tightly and is travel-friendly. The brush is of good quality and it can be used to create thick as well as thin lines. The only drawback of the brush is it tends to pick up too much at a time and dries out on the brush itself.

Charcoal Charbon is a pretty smoky, grey shade. I like combination of black and white and thus I like grey too. It has minute glitter to it but it doesn’t appear after application. I just fell in love with this color after I applied it. It is a good option when you want some change from the conventional black eyeliner.

The texture of the eyeliner is very creamy and glides on easily. The color is not too opaque and you can build it up as desired. After application it takes a little bit time to dry and thus you can create smoky eye look with it. The staying power of the eyeliner is amazing. I have oily facial skin and so are my eyelids but it stays on for around 8-9 hours without any smudging. Even when I wash my face in between it doesn’t get removed completely. You need a good amount of makeup remover to get it removed completely.

• You need a good amount of makeup remover to get rid of it.
• The quantity picked up by the brush at a time is too much.
• A little bit expensive compared to the quantity.

Yeah. Everyone should give it a try. It is a good alternative if you are bored of wearing black eyeliner.
