Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Sorbet Review

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Sorbet Review

Hi lovely ladies,

Revlon Colorburst lip butters became really popular and like many others, I too was enticed by them. I always wanted to buy the shade “Sweet Tart,” but due to my bad luck, it is always out of stock. Then one day, a SA managed to convince me that this shade – Sorbet, is better than Sweet Tart.  I trusted her and picked up this shade, but somewhere deep down my heart, I am still craving for Sweet Tart (Greedy me 😉 ). So today, I will be reviewing Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in the shade Sorbet.

My Take on Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Sorbet:

Revlon colorburst lip butter in the shade Sorbet’s packaging is similar to Revlon colorburst lipsticks except that these have coloured caps, making them look cute and easy to find in your makeup stash.  Sorbet is a vibrant, neutral fuchsia pink.  This is the kind of bright lipstick that makes a statement without being difficult to wear. It is a balm and lipstick in one, which is great. This fuchsia pink shade should flatter everyone.

It glides on the lips like butter and hydrates the lips. This lip butter is more pigmented than a few other shades. One swipe gives sheer colour and a few more swipes give an intense fuchsia pink colour.  Basically, it has sheer to medium opacity and high gloss finish giving a juicy look to the lips, but it isn’t sticky like a gloss.

The wear time isn’t great, it lasts for 4 hours and once it fades, it leaves the lips feeling completely hydrated with a pretty pink stain behind.  For all the ladies who sniff their makeup, let me tell you, this lip butter has a subtle vanilla smell to it which is quite pleasant and not at all overpowering.
