Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss Sizzle Review

Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss Sizzle

revlon sizzle
I am a very big fan of Revlon colorburst lipglosses since a long time. I have it in Papaya, Strawberry and Hot Pink. All three are lovely shades and one of the best lipglosses I have used. I recently saw it in shade Sizzle and I just couldn’t resist myself from getting it. I am very much into peach and orange lipglosses right now and Sizzle was exactly the kind of orange I was looking for. I was happy it won’t give me very bright orange (which I am afraid of) since it is a lipgloss and would be kind of sheer. So, after thinking all this I got this lipgloss and I am really happy I got it. I get compliments every time I wear this gloss. 😛

My Experience With Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss Sizzle

Revlon Colorburst lipglosses come in rectangular, transparent packaging with black screw caps. The gloss looks bright, pigmented orange when seen through the tube. The applicator isn’t the usual doe foot applicator but a flat applicator and is very soft and comfortable to work with. It glides on very smoothly on my lips and helps in applying the gloss evenly.

Sizzle is a bright orange color which isn’t too pigmented to wear. It isn’t very sheer too but gives a warm orange color to the lips. It is semi-opaque and hides the pigmentation of lips in 2 swipes. A single swipe gives a very wearable, daily orange color. It will suit all skin tones well and is a kind of color I love to wear at parties and on special occasions with a hint of coral blush and a very subtle, light eye makeup.

It isn’t intensely pigmented and is neither very sheer. It is somewhat in between and it is a good thing because intense pigmentation would have been difficult to carry because of the bright orange and very sheer color would have just been like a lipbalm. It doesn’t have any weird taste or smell. It stays on my lips for about 4-5 hours without any meals. It doesn’t survive after meals at all. I didn’t find it to be sticky at all. It is slightly thick in texture like other Revlon lipglosses and is hydrating. I don’t feel the need to apply a lipbalm beneath it. It is transferable like all the other lipglosses I have. You know I have never found a lipgloss which isn’t transferable.
