My Take on Revlon Colorstay One-Stroke Defining Eye Liner- Sensuous Silver:

Shade: ‘Sensuous silver’ is a true metallic silver shade. This shade is apt for highlighting inner rim of the eyes and to create a smoldering smoky eye look, it can be worn alone as liner too. This shade is will suit very fair to medium skin tone and is very much wearable too for everyday, as the color doesn’t looks very loud, it is pretty subtle on eyes. But the metallic sheen will make darker skin tones appear a little washed out.

Texture: The texture of the eyeliner is really soft, smooth and creamy. It glides so smoothly and effortlessly on lids, without any dragging. The tip helps in easy application of the color even in the inner corners of the eyes. The formula is like gel eyeliners, it sets dry and after that it won’t smudge a bit, it’s also water proof.

Pigmentation and Payoff: As we all know, they are superbly pigmented liners; the satin texture helps them give the fullest color in just one swipe. But “Sensuous silver” though is much pigmented, as you can see in the hand swatches, it needs maximum 2 swipes to get the noticeable, bold and intense line of color. So the color pay off is good to buildable.

Finish: The shade gives a very shiny, metallic line of color on eyes.

Staying Power: The liner is really true to its claims; it stays on me for 8 hrs without a bit of color fading, though if you’re a person who rubs eyes frequently like me, the liner would become bit flaky and uneven, but it’ll stick on the eyes, until you remove it with cleanser. On my waterline the liner stays really good for up to 7-8 hrs, but I noticed the metallic or shimmery particles in it tends to spread a bit whenever I rub my eyes.

Cons of Revlon Colorstay One-Stroke Defining Eye Liner in Sensuous Silver:

• Being a metallic shade the micro mini shimmers tends to spread in my waterline, whenever I rub it.
• The price is too much for an eye liner.
