Hello Lovely Ladies,

Well, it’s not the first green eyeliner that I am using, I have every kind of green shade in my stash, but I don’t why I always end up buying green eyeliners from different brands. My Take on Revlon Colorstay One- Stroke Defining Eyeliner- Glazed Green:

Shade/Texture:  “Glazed green” is an emerald green or you can also say it’s a peacock green shade with very minuscule silver shimmers in it; you can hardly see them. The color is really nice, not a gaudy kind of shade, and will suit every skin tone. The texture of these liners can make a girl go crazy; they are really soft, buttery smooth in texture. The tip glides effortlessly on eyelids. The formula is gel cream based. It sets dry within few minutes and then won’t budge.

Finish and Pigmentation:  Even with the shimmer particles in the liner, it gives a creamy matte kind of finish on eyes. The pigmentation is awesome; one swipe would give an intense bold line on the eyes. You need not swipe it multiple times to achieve the color, it’s nicely pigmented.

Staying Power:  The liner stays put on lids for 5-6 hours easily, I don’t have oily lids, but I have the habit of touching or rubbing my eyes frequently, which makes the liner fade away after a few hours.  The liner stays on my waterline for 3-4 hours easily.  After that, it fades away by itself. I read many reviews, everyone complaining about the stinging effect of this liner on the waterline, but I didn’t face any such problem with this shade. On me, the liner becomes a bit flaky in the last hours, may be because of the gel formula. The pencil wouldn’t smudge a bit when you apply it in your hands for swatches, but the thing I noticed is that the color is not completely touch proof on the eyes, a bit of color does get transferred to your finger whenever you touch it.  I think that makes the color flaky on my eyes.

Cons of Revlon Colorstay One- Stroke Defining Eyeliner- Glazed Green:

  • The price, and for the price, I didn’t find the staying power that good.
  • It becomes flaky and the line becomes uneven if you touch or rub your eyes.
  • You will need to remove the color with a remover; otherwise uneven lines of color will stick on the eyes.
  • I think this liner is suitable for oily lids rather than normal or dry eyelids.

Would I Recommend Revlon Colorstay One- Stroke Defining Eyeliner- Glazed Green?

Well, I did like the texture and pigmentation, but I don’t think I will recommend this one for a few reasons. One for the price, and there are better options available in the market and this kind of a color is very common, even Faces provides better staying power and texture at 100 bucks less.
