I simply could not stop myself from trying these, I picked up 4 and all pretty brighter ones that can be patted onto the lid for brighter eyed look. This color though is khaki and I love khaki for eyes. The shadows are sooo cute looking and they come at an unbeatable price.  I had to pick it up.Another factor is that these are so small that chances are you can actually use it up before discarding it 😛
These are linked as in you can slide them together, snap and they fit together to make a palette. Out of 30 shade you can pick some nice complementary colors .The main reason anyone would buy it is the price. Then the cuteness and the functionality and definitely for trying out some shades you have always wanted without spending a bomb.
This khaki is a pearl shade in a deep green khaki,I love to wear khaki shade with my hazel contact lens.I have worn a golden khaki shadow HERE with green lens from Color blends. The Inglot one is way lighter of course but this one is pure deep green and can be worn for a green smokey eye,it looks nice on a black base to start with. You can line the eyes with a creamy black liner smudge it and then apply this khaki very close to the lid on the black base. Then as you go upwards you can blend this with a natural brown crease color.Use this under the lower lash line, slightly smudged.
Let me talk about the texture, it is not much pigmented,it is very average. The color has fine pearly shimmer, nothing OTT. When you rub the finger on the shade, the color does not feel chalky, there is no fall out but yes there is not much color too picked up.When you apply it you can build it up, nit is not that opaque in one swipe. You can make it work, it is not so sad but it is not very soft or pigmented.
The color has no fallout and works well on a base. The color is pretty for warm skin tones, you can wear it softly or build it to make it greener. The color lasts on a base 3 or 4 hours. without base it is half of that. But overall for the price it did not hurt much, I love khaki green and I like how this can be made to work. You can try it if you have no khaki shades in your stash.
