How are you all? Well today let me tell you something about myself. I am a person who is in love with light shades of lipstick, you will not find any dark shades of lipstick in my collection. So today’s review is also about such a beautiful light shade from new collection of Revlon colorstay ultimate suede-womenswear.

My take on Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede-Womenswear 010:

I was eyeing for a shade similar to Lakme’s ‘Day Love’, which is no longer available now. So, my search finally ended on this shade, though it is not an exact dupe but still very similar to ‘Day Love’. So I picked it up.

The texture of the lipstick is very creamy upon application but after 7-8 mins it dries up on the lips and settles down like matte lipstick, no tugging and pulling is required for proper application.

Packaging is decent with a transparent cap and same coloured body which makes it easier to identify the shade in the stack. The shade itself is very beautiful. It is a bluish pink colour. You need 2 to 3 strokes to get the true colour and full coverage on pigmented lips. The lipsticks are completely transfer resistant and therefore needs makeup remover to remove it :). It feels sticky after 4-5 min which means it has started to dry up to look matte. I read some reviews online in which people have complained about their dry texture but, I didn’t find them overly dry on my lips. People with very dry lips could face such problems.

Staying power is superb but after 3-4 hours or after meals or without regular touchups for too long it becomes patchy or flaky.

Pros of Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede-Womenswear 010:

• Beautiful shade will suit fair to medium skin toned beauties.
• Good pigmentation of such a light shade
• Wears upto long time
• Texture is creamy but becomes matte completely after 7-8 mins
• No question of bleeding:)
• Packaging is very decent, easy to identify the shade.

Cons of Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede-Womenswear 010:

• Even it’s long wearing lipstick ,it needs touch ups to avoid flaky look.
• Makeup remover or cleansing milk is required to get it off from the fine line of the lips.
• Dry lip beauties will need to apply any moisturising product on lips after sometime.

Recommendation:- Yes, surely I would recommend this shade, but prepare yourself if you have dry lips before application.

Rating:– 8/10 (2 less because of the flakiness problem).

Repurchase:– Yes, sure as I like the staying power of the lipstick. But rather than going for the same shade I would love to try any different shade.
