I am super excited to write this review. For the first time, I have bought a gloss from Revlon. This is one of my favorite glosses till date. Read on further to find out why I love this product.

Packaging:

The gloss comes in a transparent rounded fat tube, with a black cap. There is a golden colored rim with the brand name is written. The applicator is a simple small doe-foot one; you’ll need to dip the applicator 2-3 times in the tube, to get the color on the lips. Overall, the packaging looks sturdy and nice.

My Take on Revlon Fuchsia Finery Super Lustrous Lip Gloss:

Shade:

‘Fuchsia Finery’ is pretty fuchsia pink shade, the gloss has no shimmers in it which makes me love it even more; the shade is very bright and peppy but being a gloss the sheerness of the color makes it a very wearable shade for everyday and suitable for every skin tone. It’s a perfect shade to wear alone during the day and even on parties. The color is so that it’ll instantly brighten up fair and medium complexions.

Texture & Finish:

The texture of the gloss is very creamy and smooth. It glides effortlessly on lips. The formula is like gel based, the consistency is not thick and sticky neither runny thin. It feels so light weight on lips; as it claims the gloss doesn’t have that tackiness or stickiness in it. The gloss is enough moisturizing, without giving any waxy or sticky feeling on lips. It does give natural plump effect on lips, without any kind of irritation. The gloss gives a very glossy and lustrous finish on lips.

Pigmentation:

The gloss has that required pigmentation to it. It gives a good color and sheer coverage on lips in 1 swipe, so it’s an apt shade for pigmented lips too. The color goes a little (not very noticeable) uneven, but even after layering, it won’t bleed a bit.

Staying Power:

Being a gloss, it has a pretty decent wear-time. It lasted on me for 3-4 hrs easily with light snacking and drinking, but after 2 hrs or so the super glossy finish fades. The gloss leaves a mild stain behind and the stain again lasts for 1 hr. The gloss is perfect for beauties who go to office, as it has a pretty decent wearing time, so you won’t need to rush for touch up.

• It does give plumped effect on lips, without irritation.
• Being a gloss it’s sheer but yet has the required color to it.
• The color can be easily layered for more intensity and won’t bleed a bit.
• Apt gloss for busy office professionals and pigmented lips.
• Staying power is good for 3-4 hrs, with light snacking.
• The gloss contains SPF in it.
• The gloss stains mildly on the lips, which lasts for 1 more hour.

Cons of Revlon Fuchsia Finery Super Lustrous Lip Gloss:

• The color can appear a little uneven on lips.
• The applicator is too small, so you’ll need to dip it 2-3 times in the tube to get the color on lips.

Will I recommend Revlon Fuchsia Finery Super Lustrous Lip Gloss?

Oh yes! This range surely deserves a try, but unluckily we don’t have all the 12 shades in India. This gloss is apt for office-going beauties as it lasts long,the color is very wearable, you can use it over lipstick or alone too.
