Revlon PhotoReady Cobalt Crystal Eye Art Lid+Line+Lash Review

This is one of the new entrants in the market by Revlon. The hype around it and the packaging were the main reasons why I bought it. But, you’ll have to read the review to find out if it’s a big time winner or loser!

My Experience with Revlon PhotoReady Cobalt Crystal Eye Art Lid+Line+Lash:

Revlon PhotoReady Cobalt Crystal Eye Art Lid+Line+Lash Review

I was impressed by this gimmicky product promos on the TV as well as print ads. So, I ordered this with a couple of other things. I have used this a couple of times and so the review was pending as I had got this quite a time back.

Revlon PhotoReady Cobalt Crystal Eye Art Lid+Line+Lash Review

OMG!!! It’s the same packaging as the Revlon Nail Art product. Just imagine having the same products in the same place…it would be a health hazard! 😮 It’s so lame that the creative heads couldn’t even come out with a different packaging. The doe-foot applicator and the brush both are horrible to get the job done, so I use my own brush with it.

Revlon has been marketing this as a product to be used for multiple looks creation and named it “Eye Art” and they came up with 10 shades for all skin tones. I got the blue one as the shade combo looked stunning in the images. I tried to swatch a tester in a store, but this particular shade was out of stock.

There are two textures of blue eyeshadow and glitter in this package. The eyeshadow is creamy, metallic cobalt blue and this is unique in itself as no primer is required to apply this and this has to be applied with the wand provided that sets after a few seconds. The good thing stops here as this starts to crack and crease like crazy! I have tried blending with my fingers and also once with a primer, but things didn’t change much. The glitter part is horrific as it has the exact texture and look of “glitter glue”. The applicator is another story! 😀 What a shame from Revlon! This product gets big thumbs down from me. 😛

Would I Recommend Revlon PhotoReady Cobalt Crystal Eye Art Lid+Line+Lash?
No, give this a big skip, even if you tend to get attracted by the shades.

I got these no bump hair ties and have been using them since then. They are really good for your hair as they don’t snag or pull the hair and don’t even leave any marks like other bands. So, when you spot anything like these just grab them! 😀
