Revlon Photoready Color Correcting Primer Review

Revlon Photoready Color Correcting Primer Review

Basically, I am not a primer person. When I got Revlon Photo Ready Foundation, the SA used Revlon Photo Ready Color Correcting Primer before swatching the foundation. I liked the smooth finish and thought of giving it a try. As I have yellow color tone, the SA even said it would brighten up my face. This is my first primer. So, I won’t be able to compare it with the others in the market.

My Experience with Revlon Photoready Color Correcting Primer:

The product comes in a small sturdy glass jar with an easy-to-use pump dispenser.  It has a light lavender hint to it. Lavender is known for its ability to brighten dull skin and even out skin. Texture is just fine, not too runny.  Thus, making it easy to apply. It absorbs easily enough and dries down transparent. It does give a matte effect to oily skin, but it doesn’t hydrate dry skin. I find it is good for my normal to oily-combination skin. This product is fragrance free. I need very less product to cover my face and neck. So, this jar will last me long. It is light on my skin. It fills in my large pores and evens out my skin. It keeps my T-zone from oiling up for almost 5 hours. I think it will keep oil at bay for 4 – 6 hours based on the nature of the skin. It gives a subtle glow/brightness to my skin. This brightening up of skin will be noticeable in person.
