How are you doing today! I am here to share my favourite earthy peach shimmery lipstick with you which I purchased recently. It’s the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in the shade Demure.  Please read on further to know about Revlon Super Lustrous Demure lipstick.

Packaging:

This shimmery lipstick comes in the usual black and golden case packaging with a sturdy cap. The shade details are mentioned on the bottom of the bullet.  It seems quite sturdy and suitable for travel purpose as well. They are completely fragrance free.

My Experience with Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick – Demure:

After L’Oreal, I have started loving Revlon for its equally hydrating and soft texture; however, they are not scented, hence I used to skip them often, but after getting a chance to try a few Revlon lipsticks, I have started to lay my hands on a few gorgeous shades which I never get to see in other brands. One such shade is this earthy peachy neutral shade “Demure.”

I told you earlier that fuchsia and peach never complimented my skin and somehow I always craved for both of them. I tried a few peaches before, but none of them looked good on me except this gorgeous subtle shade.  It is a very subtle, earthy peach color with silver shimmer yet it is a creme shade as per Revlon, strange! It really amplifies my skin tone and I feel more comfortable wearing this peach than any other brown or neutral shade. I never felt it washed me out, instead it looks very soft yet apt for any occasion. It does have shimmer hence sometimes it becomes slightly frosty on the lips; however, it is not bothering as I can still pull it off confidently.

This would be my first successful peach lipstick I guess. It is already stated that Demure is a creme lipstick which holds true for this lipstick. I never applied Demure with a lip balm, whenever I am in a hurry, I just swipe it as I am assured that it will hydrate my lips and keep them soft as long as it stays on my lips. I am quite happy with its slight pigmentation.  It does look sheer but I can still notice peachy neutral sheen on my lips after 2-3 swipes. It is very comfy and wearable shade with almost every outfit. I just need touch ups every 4-5 hours as it hardly stays for more than 4 hours on my lips after heavy meals, but I always carry my shades, hence I do not feel it is an issue so far! I believe this one is going to be in my shopping list always as I know I am going to finish it off soon.  I wear it mostly during weekend get togethers and pot luck parties nowadays! I would say if you are a fan of peach lipsticks, then you must give this a try!

Pros of Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick – Demure:

• Beautiful, subtle, earthy peach shade with silver shimmer.
• It does have shimmer, yet looks subtle and neutral on the lips.
• It gives slight sheer pigmentation which gives pretty good coverage to pigmented lips as well.
• Lipstick is non drying and does not bleed on lips.
• It would compliment any skin tone.

Cons of Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick – Demure:

• Probably, its frosty texture.
