It’s been a while since I wrote a review; I have been very busy with academics and now since I am on Diwali vacation I thought I would write a review for you guys. I hope you find this review helpful.I am reviewing the Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in the shade Mad about mauve. I had gone to shop for an everyday wearable mauve shade lipstick and the girl at the Revlon counter immediately picked up this shade and told me that this shade is perfect for me. As I swatched it I decided to buy it and give it a try, because it looked so pretty. Revlon has a wide selection of lipsticks which are up to the mark and hence I always prefer a Revlon lipstick. And it’s been a long time since I have been searching for a good mauve shade. There are many nice shades in this category of super lustrous lipsticks.

My experience with Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Mad About Mauve Review:

I really love this shade and as the name says I’m already mad about it. It’s just the perfect mauve for Indian skin tone. This lipstick can be worn every day because it is a very subtle and nothing dramatic. The packaging is black and gold which makes it look very classy. It is also very sturdy and you can carry it along with you in your bag or purse. The cap has a transparent top so that you can see the color, this helps when you have to choose if you have many lipsticks with a black packaging in your make-up drawer. The texture of the lipstick is very creamy and it glides on the lips like butter, which makes the application easier, so if you are in a hurry it is faster to apply. The lipstick is also very pigmented just one swipe and you are done. It stays on the lips for 4-5 hours after which you have to re-apply it. It is also moisturizes the lips and is suitable for dry lips as well. It moisturizes but does not look super glossy, it look very natural.It give a lustre to the lips which makes the lips look good. This lipstick shade will look great if you want to wear heavy or dramatic eyeshadows and keep the lips toned down.
