Revlon Top Speed Fast Dry Nail Enamel – Bubble and Violet

Revlon Top Speed Fast Dry Nail Enamel Bubble and Violet

I haven’t really tried Revlon nail paints before because you know they come in these really boring shades and colours that are not tempting enough.  A few months ago, I spotted some nail paints at the Revlon counter that were looking really good and different from the regular ones.  I got to know that these are from the “back-then-newly-launched” range called “Top Speed,” but I am really confused because I have heard about Revlon’s “Top Speed” range long ago, maybe these are just new shades and the “fast drying” technology is newly introduced.  I picked up some colours, not a lot of them, just a few.  Out of those, showing you girls two shades called “Bubble” and “Violet.” 🙂

My Take on Revlon Top Speed Fast Dry Nail Enamel – Bubble and Violet:

I am such a sucker for bright and happy nail colours and I do not hide my love for them 😛  The two colours “Bubble” and “Violet” are very bright colours and would totally attract attention to your nails 🙂

Bubble is a thick fuchsia pink colour without any shimmer that comes out fully in one stroke itself, but the brush provided is not good and the nail paint comes out streaky.  You have to brush on two to three times to smooth out the streaky finish. It doesn’t dry out in 60 seconds exactly, it takes more time than that.

Violet:

Violet is a lovely violet shade that goes opaque in one stroke, but again, the streaky finish is annoying.  Violet is without any shimmer and it looks lovely on nails.  Check out these colours, especially, now since the wedding season is on.  Bubble would look good along with your fuchsia anarkali and Violet will look good too 🙂  Coming to the staying power, these chip on quickly, within a day, without any top coat.  With top coat, it will survive a day.

Let’s check out the pros and cons of these two shades:

Pros of Revlon Top Speed Fast Dry Nail Enamel – Bubble and Violet:

  • Bright and happy shades.
  • These shades are completely opaque.
  • Though you can find similar fuchsia shades in other brands, but this Violet would be hard to find.
  • Both these shades would attract attention to nails.
  • Good shade options for this ongoing festive season.

Cons of Revlon Top Speed Fast Dry Nail Enamel – Bubble and Violet:

  • The brush gives a streaky finish.
  • Staying power is too short, these shade hardly last a day on the nails.
  • Does not exactly dry up in 60 seconds.

Would I Repurchase Revlon Top Speed Fast Dry Nail Enamel – Bubble and Violet?

Only the Violet because its very lovely, Fuchsia I won’t because there are similar shades available in Lakme, Maybelline, and other brands.

IMBB Rating:

3.5/5 (points for the lovely shades only).
