A double chin is generally considered as the most common physical signs of ageing but it may be the result of general obesity too. The chin is one of the most difficult areas of the body to lose weight or tone and firm.
Exercising your chin tones the muscles of your lower face, your jawline and your neck for a more youthful appearance. Mentioned below are few such exercises that you can do as and when you like in the comfort of your home or anywhere else.
Exercises to get rid of double chin
• Lean the head backward, keeping the lips together. Now, open your mouth as wide as you can in a slow motion and then close. You’ll really feel the pull all along the lower side of the jawline and under the mouth area of the chin. Repeat this movement of opening and closing the mouth for about 10 times in a row.
• Open your eyes and mouth as wide as you can at the same time. Now stick out your tongue as far as it can go. As you do it you’ll feel just about every muscle in the face and neck straining. Hold your position and count to three and then relax. Repeat this exercise three to five times simultaneously.
• Chewing gum gives your jaw and facial muscles a workout. Exercising your jaw and facial muscles helps burn away the body fat that causes your double chin. It also keeps your facial skin firm.
• Make yourself comfortable in a standing or seated position. Now tilt your head back until you’re looking skyward. Pucker your lips and hold this position for five seconds. Try performing this exercise 10 to 15 times during your workouts.
Some other tips:
Practising good posture is a great way to help get rid of a double chin. Whether you’re typing at your computer at work or reading a book in bed, it’s important that you keep your back straight and chin up. Not only does sitting up straight make your double chin less noticeable, but it also strengthens jaw muscles, to keep fat from building up under your chin.
Eliminate the consumption of junk foods, fast food and other foods that are packed with fat and calories. Cutting back on your caloric intake not only helps you get rid of your double chin, but also helps you lose fat in other areas of your face.

Oh thanks! I have such chubby cheeks even though the rest of my body is very thin! It looks especially bad in photographs :-/ I am going to do these exercises twice everyday to see if they are going to help.
