My Experience with Rimmel 071 Cherry Kiss Lasting Finish 1000 Kisses Stay On Lip Pencil:
The shade cherry kiss is a deep muted berry color. It goes pretty well with my skin tone. It doesn’t contain any shimmer and does not have a glossy finish to it. The color is so intense that one can get a full on lip color with this stand alone lip pencil for a matte finish. It is drying on lips after a few hours of application and also accentuates lines which are pretty noticeable.
Packaging:
The lip pencil comes in colourful wooden pencils with plastic cap over it. The color of the pencil represents the shade inside the pencil. It needs to be sharpen before application which leads to the wastage of product.
Texture:
It has a smooth and thick texture which requires little pressure while application. The best part is that its tip doesn’t break off while application which happens to most of the lip pencils. It has the perfect matte finish.
Pigmentation:
Due to its thick consistency the pigmentation is quite good and it goes completely opaque in just one swipe.
Longevity:
The staying power of the lip pencil is pretty good as claimed by the brand. It does survive meals and stay for a good 6 hours with little fading at the centre of lips which is almost negligible. It does fade out unevenly after that and just a circle around my lips remains at end of day. It does transfer to my spoons and tea mugs. During its stay it do not budge or bleed out of lips.

• Dries out the lips.
• Sharpening of pencil leads to wastage of product.
• Accentuates line after few hours of application.

Yes, it has a good staying power which is the priority for me; also, there are good shades available in this range. Yes , I will recommend it but if using it as a full on lip color, hydration is a must.

Need to exfoliate the lips before applying it.

I stay away far far away from drying lip products. My lips get chapped easily and this liner will not help me at all so, it’s a pass for me.. :/
Yes its drying but usually long wearing lip color tends to get dry and become tacky
I don’t go for lip pencils mainly because they dry out the lips. But, the shade is good, my sister has a Maybelline lipstick in same shade.
