This is the third lipstick from my mom’s kitty. I have lately reviewed SOS RED and Rich Rose. Both of them were awesome 😀

Today I am going to review Rimmel Lasting Finish Kiss & Stay Lip Gloss in 170 Sunset Mauve. No touch-ups needed. Encased in beautiful packaging, it has lip color at one side while lip gloss at another with cushiony applicator at both sides. This can last for 1-2 days 😀

My Experience with Rimmel Lasting Finish Kiss & Stay Lip Gloss:

I have had a lot of trouble finding lip gloss that stays on, but I finally found it in this. If anything, it stays on too well – by the next morning, even after a full day of eating and a night time make-up removal, it’s still on put flaky and extremely difficult to remove without leaving spots. However, that’s a trade off I’m willing to make. The gloss that goes over the color is very thick and sticky, which is uncomfortable. But that appears to help keep things in place, so I guess it’s a necessary evil. It’s a pure love or hate product for most of us.

You have to apply a very thin layer of color with the applicator provided with it. I am not too fond off Mauve shades but this is really very tempting and soothing. It dries very fast and then you have to apply gloss over it. Till the time you don’t wear gloss over it, it will be very uncomfortably sticky but the gloss smoothes it over and you get glossy lips.

Gloss is not too runny; it is easy to apply. The best part is gloss doesn’t come off even if you wash your face. I have showed you a swatch were I have poured water on my hands and even though gloss and lip color both remain intact 😀

1) Availability in India can be an issue.
2) Need cleansing milk to remove it.

Will I Repurchase Rimmel Lasting Finish Kiss & Stay Lip Gloss?

I would definitely repurchase another shade. I love it for the color, for the glossy effect and its staying power 😀
