Hope you are enjoying the vacations and the festive season. There is so much merriment and color all around. I was bitten by the contouring and highlighting bug quite late, but I am trying out new products now. Today’s review will be about Rimmel London Kate Sculpting Palette in #002 Coral Glow.

My Experience with Rimmel London Coral Glow Kate Sculpting Palette:
Packaging: I must say, I am definitely a fan of the functional packaging. It looks classy and attractive. It is lightweight and made of sturdy plastic which doesn’t look cheap. The rounded edges and golden border adds to the aesthetic appeal of the product. The product details and directions are neatly mentioned on the back. Also, the lid shuts tight and makes it a travel friendly one.
This easy-to-use sculpting palette designed by Kate Moss for Rimmel London has three components. Let’s talk about each in detail.
The first is the soft shimmer powder to highlight the cheek bone, brow bone, center of the chin and bridge of the nose. It is a pale beige color with shimmers. The delicate shimmery powder is useful for highlighting and will suit fair to medium skin tones.
The second is the shading powder to contour the sides of the nose, jaw line and forehead. I am moderately fair, but I still feel this shade is best suited for very fair skin tones. I won’t recommend it for medium-olive or dark skin tones.
The third is the powder blush for colour and definition. This is a favorite of mine. The beautiful soft coral-colored blush gives a flush to my cheeks. It gives a beautiful look and doesn’t look overtly made up.
All the shades are very finely milled and smooth in texture. They do kick up slight powder when you use a brush, but I am not complaining. The pigmentation is great and shows up in one swipe. Also, you can build up to your preference. It doesn’t accentuate my pores and is easy to blend. Also, this palette is great for light daytime contouring, you can go a bit heavy handed for parties. Since I am rarely into contouring, I am fine with the contour shade which could be deeper. I use the highlighter and blush the most. The shading and blush powder give warmth to the face, and prevent makeup from looking flat.
The staying power is good, it stays on my problematic oily skin for around 6-7 hours without a primer. With a primer and matte foundation, I wore it for 9+ hours with no creasing and noticed fading after that. Overall, it’s a good product to own and I would definitely recommend it especially for fair skin.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Rimmel London Coral Glow Kate Sculpting Palette?
No, I won’t repurchase. But if you are fair and need a regular contouring kit for light contouring and highlighting, go for it.
