Okay, one more from the new range from Rimmel London, an eye shadow paint in the shade Manganese Purple. Hopefully you are not getting bored… I tried to jazz up the EOTD a bit…hihi! Read on to know in details about this particular shade.

My Experience with Rimmel London Manganese Purple 014 Scandal Eyeshadow Paint:

The eye shadow paint comes in a see-through tube with a black cap and lip gloss like applicator. The body has all detailed information regarding the product. Ingredients and date have been mentioned on the body as well. The applicator is functional and sturdy. You can pretty much go away using just the applicator. A brush is needed though to blend the edges and the fingertips works just as fine.

The texture of the shadow paint is very smooth and creamy. It glides so well on the lids without tugging or pulling that I tend to overdo at times. It has a beautiful shimmer, which gives the required glow to the shade without looking tacky or cheap. For this particular shade, I have a complain that it applies a bit patchy. Most of the cream comes on the fingertip/brush and hence you end up using more product each time.

Manganese Purple is a beautiful shade. As always, I think purple and grey are two underdogs, when it comes to eye makeup. It compliments a lot of skin tones and eye colors as well. Depending on the intensity, it can be worn for both day and night time looks. I do not know for sure, if I have a defective piece, but this particular shade from the whole range comes off a bit patchy, so I had a real hard time pulling off the EOTD. Nevertheless my love for purple made me do it.

The staying power is worth mention as well, since I have worn it for a whole day and it stayed just like that. I do not touch my eyes often, but even then, it would not budge as it does not move a bit after settling down. Thankfully, the shimmers do not travel all over the face on wearing for a long time. So, full marks on that aspect as well.

About repurchasing, may be not, unless they work on the formulation but yes, I do recommend it. Try it at the store, maybe I got a defective piece.
