Rimmel Nude Delight Moisture Renew Lipstick Review

One final color from the “Rimmel Moisture Renew” range, it’s named “Nude Delight.” I have reviewed two other shades from this range earlier – Dreamy and Amethyst Shimmer.

My Experience with Rimmel Nude Delight Moisture Renew Lipstick:

The packaging as I have already mentioned in my previous posts is super shiny purple with a color-coded sticker at the base, which has both the name and number of the shade. The cap shuts with a click and is pretty sturdy, so there is no chance of opening up in the makeup pouch. The bullet is a regular one and nothing unique. Overall, an attractive packaging to look at, also simple enough for regular use.

The texture of “Nude Delight” is creamy smooth. There are no shimmers in the shade. The pigmentation is medium as the shade is light in itself. No matter how many times you swipe it, the coverage remains medium. For those with pigmented lips, applying a lip liner beneath is suggested.

The shade is a full-on dud! One more shade of concealer by Rimmel after the Nude Eclipse. This is so disappointing….urgggh! Washes me out badly and makes me look like a zombie. This one is going straight into the bin. I have no idea why companies make such shades. It would not suit anyone, not even people with very fair skin tones. See it to believe it!

The staying power could have gained this lipstick some rating, but there too, it has failed! Due to the creamy texture, the shade does not stay on the lips for more than 2 hours. It transfers heavily and hence vanishes after a mini meal. Not that I want this shade to stay….but still!

• Affordable (on discount, mostly).

Cons of Rimmel Nude Delight Moisture Renew Lipstick:

• Poor staying power.
• Low pigmentation.
• Looks like a concealer shade.
