My Experience with Rimmel Renew and Lift Brightening Powder:

I am NC 30 so I got the shade “Ivory” which is a good match for my skin tone. The pressed powder is very silky and smooth in texture. You get a lot of product on your finger when you swatch it, may be because it is a bit loosely compacted and soft in texture. But this factor makes it quick to apply and blends flawlessly.  A decent quantity comes off on brush bristles with a single swipe; thus saving my time for repeated strokes to cover the face. The coverage is sheer, so it can be used as a setting power or can be worn on its own on lazy days. I have to use a concealer underneath always to deal with my dark circles and blemishes if I intend to wear it alone without any base.

It for sure adds a healthy glow and radiance to my face. The finish is not dead matte; slightly on dewy side. It gives a very natural look and never gets cakey, no matter if I layer it for more coverage. Even with loosely packed particles, it is not chalky and does not create a mess with fallout in the pan. I have combination skin and this keeps my t-zone shine free for say 3.5 hours.

Rimmel Renew and Lift Brightening Powder

It hasn’t broken me out ever and doesn’t enhance dry patches provided I have applied a moisturizer prior to application of the pressed powder. It doesn’t oxidize and doesn’t crease or skin into large pores; so it passes all these tests except that it has no SPF in it. Overall, I love the product for the radiant glow and the difference it brings to my face.

Do I Recommend/Repurchase Rimmel Renew and Lift Brightening Powder?

This one is a good mineral pressed powder, but I already have four pressed powders in my kitty at the moment, so I will not be repurchasing it till I finish it, but recommended to those who love using mineral products.
