Think of a beautiful lipstick packaging with amazing formula and that’s what Rodin lipsticks are! Linda Rodin is the founder of a very famous skincare line Olio Lusso. She came out with a lipstick line that offers 5 beautiful shades and I picked up 3 of them – So Mod (n*de), Winks ( hot pink), Tough Tomato ( orangey red), Bills on the bike ( violet berry), Red Hedy (classic red). The shade that I will be reviewing in this post is “Winks.”

My Experience with Rodin Winks Olio Lusso Luxury Lipstick:
This lipstick comes housed in a transparent plastic case with Rodin printed on the top of the cap and on the rim of the case. You can see the colour of the lipstick from outside the tube which makes finding the shade easy from the stash. The name of the shade is printed on the bottom of the tube.
Linda Rodin is known for her fantastic skincare range and I was sure that the lipsticks too were made from top notch ingredients. Rodin lipsticks are super creamy and offer a soft matte finish with slight sheen to it.
This glides smoothly on the lips and does not cling to any dry patches of my lips which make them look juicy and fuller. Rodin lipsticks are highly pigmented and offer sheer to medium coverage.
You can definitely build up to full opacity layering it on. The best part of Rodin lipsticks are that they do not feather or bleed around the lips and are super comfortable to wear.
I find formulation on Rodin lipsticks better than Charlotte Tilbury and Tom Ford lipsticks.
Winks is a stunning hot pink color which leans a bit cool toned. I think it will look stunning on everyone. Being a satiny-matte formula. I wasn’t expecting much wear time from this lipstick, but the staying power is pretty good.
I got 5 hours of wear time with a beautiful stain afterwards, after eating or drinking, which doesn’t fade for another 2 hours. It fades evenly from the lips.
