ROSE BUN – Long Straight Hair Styling Tutorial
This one comes handy when you are feeling too lazy or have too little time to deal with your hair. This will work for anyone who has hair enough to make a simple hand bun.
Comb the full length of your hair down your back
Twist the hair into a knot at the middle of the head
Let the rest of the hair hang loose
Now observe how a rope or a thread is coiled – turning in one direction only
Turn the loose hanging hair similarly
Twist the coiled hair around the center formed by the knot
Tuck the ends in and you have your perfect rose bun – see how it differs from a normal bun – the middle looks like a pouting rose bud while the coiled hair around it are like tightly formed petals.
I will accessorise the rose bun with a rose-themed band. A band is a clever way to ensure that the tucked ends will not come loose from the bun.
So this is how my hair looks finally.
So I brushed the hair down, made the knot, coiled the loose hair like a rope and twisted it around the knot till the ends are tucked in. All done in a little over 3minutes.
