Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Lotion Review

I am a sort of person who loves to wear shorts till the temperature reaches below 10 degree Celsius but this means my legs require a major up keep in terms of exfoliation, hair removal, hydration and above all flawless scar-free skin. Below is my experience with a product I purchased on a trial basis to know its efficacy in enhancing my legs’ beauty.

My Experience with Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Lotion:

Most of us have marks or scars on our legs – razor nicks and burns, mosquito bites, injuries and worst of all sun burn and uneven tanning. I can speak for most of us when I say that these scars can embarrass us when we try to wear shorts or skirts.  It is a no brainer that celebrities wear leg makeup to flaunt smooth and shiny legs. There are some high-end leg makeup products available in the market and some which offer full coverage such as Dermalogica leg makeup. I bought this product in travel size first because I wanted to try if it would work for me and also my legs don’t have any noticeable scarring that I have to go overboard with such products.

Packaging: Good and sturdy tube packaging while the color of the tube varies a little depending upon the shade purchased.

Texture: It’s not cakey or a gooey foundation, rather it is more of a runny formula which blends very easily and does not require a separate makeup brush.

Color: This particular shade is similar to my skin color – dusky with yellow tone. However, my legs are on the fairer side and didn’t show any difference.

Pigmentation: Impressive pigmentation and it does cover up scars and nicks. I used it on my arms because more obvious razor nicks and in grown hair is present on my arms. A little too much was required to cover them up.

Shimmer and shine: It has no shimmer or shine and gives a matte finish.

Fragrance: The product has no fragrance what so ever.

Durability: Once applied, wait for the product to dry out completely and then wear clothes to avoid transfer and take extra care when wearing white. It is not a self tanner and can be easily removed under running water and soap.

Pros of Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Lotion:

  • Travel-size tube.
  • Gives good coverage if used in adequate quantity.
  • Shade range caters to all skin tones.
  • No fragrance.
  • Matte finish.
  • Runny formula and easy to apply.
  • 5 shades to choose from.

Cons of Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Lotion:

  • Very less quantity.
  • No shimmer since that’s what I particularly wanted.
  • Large quantity required for the leg region.

Conclusion:
If you want shiny legs, then don’t purchase this product because it gives a matte finish. Another point to be noted is that a large quantity is required to cover up the leg region. Hence it’s better to buy the spray on leg makeup from the same brand rather than this lotion.

Would I Repurchase Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Lotion?
No, I will not because like I said I want a product which gives shiny finish rather than a matte look. It is also expensive to use this product on daily basis.
