Here is another review from the stash of goodies sent by my sister. It is the Leave in Treatment by Schwarzkopf from their Smooth Shine range.

My Experience with Schwarzkopf BC Smooth Shine Leave-In Treatment :

The packaging is a simple plastic tub with screw lid. The base is violet in accordance to the Smooth Shine range. There is no protective shield inside which would have been preferred. The plastic is strong and sturdy and good to be carried along if you can ignore the bulky form of the tub. There is a lot of information on the body and base of the tub which we girls read diligently don’t we?

The texture of the cream is smooth and buttery soft. For my just-below the shoulder length hair I need a coin sized product each time. This treatment is generally followed by me after my shampooing and conditioning. Now conditioning part is optional with people who are always in a hurry, but my brain has been programmed in a way that I cannot do without conditioners. For reviewing purpose I have tried without conditioner and directly applying this right after shampooing on my damp hair and it works equally well.

The smell of the cream is something worth mention, as I love the smell of Schwarzkopf products. It lingers on for a while before disappearing. Once you tie up your hair and open after sometime you would get the beautiful, fresh, salon-like smell still remaining which is a great pro for me. Good smelling hair is always something I personally like.

On initial application the hair seems to get a bit limp and oily just like it feels when you apply a leave-in serum/cream. But after the hair dries, you get a wonderful bounce and shine to the hair. I quite like the volume that it gives along with the promised shine and smoothness. The healthy look remains for a day or two depending on how much you expose it to dust and sweat.
I have seen a considerable amount of improvement in the look and texture of my hair on using this with the combination of shampoo and conditioner from the same range. Word of caution would be to control the amount of product you use each time to tame your mane. Also the frizz would not completely disappear but would definitely manage them, hence giving the healthy smoothness and shine.
